I drive 35 minutes to get my cx9 serviced here, when I live 15 minutes from another, because they actually listen to you!! Ray is the best and so sweet. Brought my car in for an oil change and complaining of a noise when I reverse. They couldn’t hear the noise so instead of calling me crazy and dismissing me,rah and the tech hopped in the car and asked me to replicate it. After a few minutes I was able to and they diagnosed the problem and sent me on my way. They are always upfront about how long it will take and offer loaners if needed. Thank guys!

Fisrt i would like to say Mazda makes a very robust product. They are really competitive with high end European models. And i only can say this because i own one. Service is very easily done through the Mazda app. Or you can still do it thr old fashioned way a make a call. I like there attention ro detail and i also was expressed to see they test drive all the cars after service. They found a nail in my tire and i didn't tell them i had a leak. I signed in with Barre who took care of all the paperwork and made sure yo update me on the work that was being done and the time throughout the process. This has been the worst experience I had with a service department. I brought my vehicle in after noticing all of the warning lights were on. After checking out the vehicle, Zani, the service advisor, informed us that it’s an electrical issue and that they would need to hold on to the car for roughly a week. He told us he had no more loaners available and that he will reserve one for us on Monday ( four days later). He gave us the option to leave the car, but we would have to pay for our own Uber back to Bloomfield or come back on Monday when he has the loaner. We decided to go with the second option. I arrange my working schedule for Monday around getting the loaner. Before I left the house, I called to make sure the loaner was available, but to my surprise, the lady in charge of loaners had no clue what I was talking about and informed us that Zani was out on sick leave. I demanded to speak with a manager, but I was told none of the managers were there. I asked when a loaner would be available and was instructed to leave my name and my number, and someone would reach to me as soon as a loaner becomes available. Yesterday, five days later, after not getting a phone call nor any updates, I decided to give them a callback. After a back and forth with a service advisor, I was told that they would reserve a loaner for Saturday. This morning, I called in before heading down to the service department, and once again, no one had any clue regarding my loaner. We have two kids and are not comfortable having them in the car with those lights on. We drive roughly 30 minutes to the Sansone service department because I always like to service my car at the same dealership I purchased it from. You would think the service department would appreciate a customer that drives pass 4 other Mazda service departments to come to them to get their car service. Sansone Mazda does not respect its customer's time, nor do they appreciate loyal customers. Take your car to another dealer.

The bumper rusted out after a few yrs and I brought in the warranty that says guarantee, they blame it on where they get their bumpers from RATHER than help me out, at least go to where you get your products and try to help the customer out! You just basically said I’m SOL....thanks Quality for the kick in the pants! From now on I will go to a DEPENDABLE BODY SHOP! Lesson Learned...

Well today I called 8 times because nobody would answer the phone. My car has been there over a month. They can’t produce the parts. I haven’t heard anything in 2 weeks the service advisor I was working with quit. They wouldn’t give me a loaner when I dropped off my car even though I walked passed 6 of them in the parking lot and Mazda wouldn’t help with a rental car. Needless to say I lost my job behind Open Road Mazda’s service department. The least they can do is fix my car in a timely manner instead of coming up with excuses as to why they don’t have the parts. Joe blames the warranty company the warranty company says the called and said the entire engine needed to be replaced when it didnt. If you want to be upsold with unnecessary service and have problems wrongfully diagnosed then this is the place to be otherwise find another dealer. It’s in their best interest to fix my car quick and in a hurry at this point not to mention mark in sales keeps calling every other day looking for referral customers. I wouldn’t send my worse enemy to them to them to buy a car let alone service their car I will sleep at night knowing once my CX-9 is finished they will never get my business. They can not pay me to do business in anyone of their dealerships. The discrimination here is very strong and I will never return here again I will make sure everyone I know doesn’t come here and I will make sure I tell everyone they know.

Horrible place to buy a car.
I was hoping they were a brand new business because none of them know what theyre doing. But apparently theyve been open for a few years.
First they forgot to get copies of our licenses so we had to send them pictures, no big deal. On the way home from the dealership the traction control light came on the dash and it started shifting strange with the rpms jumping. Then the check engine light came on. All on the way home from the dealership. Not such a big deal, they told us to bring it back so they can fix it. We brought it back, they got the lights to go off, then a half hour after leaving the traction control light came on and it started shifting weird again. At this point the owner starts telling us that we have to call the bank and tell them the car is running good so he could get his money from them, we didnt wanna give the bank false information so we waited until it was running good to call them . The owner said it couldn't wait and we had to call them right away otherwise we would lose our down payment and have to bring The vehicle back, I called the bank and asked them if that was true, they said thats not true. They said they could wait until its fixed. The vehicle is under warranty but we didnt trust them to fix it at that point. So we brought it to a local garage and paid to get it fixed. They did it with no problem. Owner was supposed to reimburse us but that hasn't happened. Then we realize its past due for an oil change. Had to go pay for that as well. While getting the oil change at a local shop I asked to to look it over and let me know if they think it will pass an inspection. They found a coolant leak and an oil leak, then showed me the inside of the tires were worn down to the metal so theres no way it would pass. All laws say that vehicles have to be sold with good tires. We put 2,500 down and will be paying for it for the next 4 years, we trusted that it would be good enough to pass inspection. I asked the owner if he would get us good tires and he wanted to wait until the bank approved the loan. 3 days before our temporary plate expired they contacted us amd said the bank still needed more information. We gave them what they needed but didn't get a response until the day that our tag expired. Now its been a week since the bank approved the loan and the dealership still hasn't processed our registration or provided us with a license plate. The owner doesn't wanna talk about the tires, and we just got a letter from the bank saying they still didn't get proof of our licenses. After we gave them our licenses to copy in person, then sent them pictures of our licenses They still haven't sent it to the bank. Owner and employees are incompetent and disrespectful. We have bought enough vehicles in the past to know that something is seriously wrong with this place. As a father with 3 kids I truly wish I wouldve went somewhere else and I wouldn't want to see anyone go through this. The owner also told me this is just one deal for him and really doesnt matter to him anyway, he told me when its processed they won't be able to mail the license plate to me, ill have to drive 2 hours to go pick it up on bald tires. I'm really hoping he will replace the tires when we get there but he hasn't said that he will. He just avoids the question. I've literally never left a bad review on anything in my life but this is too much.

Great people, horrible experience though.
After negotiating and having a great time talking with the staff, everything went downhill.. the numbers we were promised were no where close to what our contract said. The poor finance guy was the last to meet us at 8pm after everyone else was done for the day but they had taken forever to complete our paperwork (we had sent in all our paperwork since 8am, prior to getting there). We finally get the agreement and the poor guy can’t explain anything because the sales ppl gave us all the wrong information and he was stuck giving us the bad news that the numbers promised were all BS because no one calculated anything correctly.
At this point we had waited forever, and decided to take the car and take the higher monthly bill, as we were so done with our horrible experience.
But it gets better..
After 4 and a half months, I am finally getting my registration and plates. How does no one have the answer as to why it hadn’t been processed? How come I had to call millions of times and keep getting the run around.

An absolutely awful experience. After being quoted what the repairs would cost and the amount of time it would take to complete them, they went 3 weeks and $1,000 over what was quoted. After I picked the car up it still wasn't fixed. They tried to force the wrong wiring in the repaired rear door causing the window not to work and the car unable to lock. The wheels were left not properly aligned causing the car to shake at speeds over 50mph. I ended up spending over another $1,000 at a place that actually knows what they are doing.
While the car was there over 10 calls were left unreturned. You're better off taking your car literally any where else.

I spoke to someone from the parts department who told me it would cost $50.00 to have a programmable key made. I asked if I needed an appointment and he transferred me to service. After several minutes on hold I was prompted to leave a message with my name and number (because my call was important to them). I left a message at 11:10 AM and they never called back. Eventually, I drove there and was told that the key was $50 and the programming another $125. The man at the entrance desk was cordial which is why I gave the star. The service department has not called back a day later.
