Wagoneers are dented on rear hatch 2023/2024! MFG DEFECT! Beware!! Do not buy! Jeep not standing behind defect. Expect customers to accept defective product! $80k for defective dents! Legal is involved. Jeep needs to issue national recall per 4 different dealers! Owners/Jeep rep make fun of buyer in back office! Have recording! Have not once reached out to customer to try and fix issue! They will not stand behind product! MFG OR OWNER! RUN!!!

FINANCE DEPARTMENT: 1/5 GENERAL MANAGER: 3/5 OVERALL: 2/5 I purchased a 2026 RAM 1500 Laramie from Friendship CDJR of Forest City and want to provide an honest, factual account of my experience for others researching this dealership. The sales experience itself raised concerns from the start. I drove approximately 90 minutes to the dealership after being told I needed to arrive before closing on the last day of the month to take advantage of promotions, including 90 days with no payment. Upon arrival I was informed I would sign paperwork that evening but would need to return the following day to take possession of the truck as it still required inspection. After completing the paperwork, my salesperson and I spent over an hour attempting to activate the digital key feature on the vehicle without success. I later discovered through my own research that this feature has not been fully rolled out across all 2026 RAM 1500s. This was not disclosed at the time of sale and suggests a gap in product knowledge that added unnecessary time and frustration to the delivery experience. The transaction on March 30, 2026 involved a spot delivery (I learned this after the sale) — meaning I took possession of the vehicle before financing was finalized. Approximately six weeks later I was informed the original deal fell through because the lender would not approve those terms — specifically the 90 days no payment promotion that had been used to bring me in. I was then required to sign a revised contract and mail it back to the dealership. What followed was a prolonged experience of unanswered requests and deferred follow-through from the finance department: • Multiple requests for a copy of my executed revised contract went unanswered or were deferred for over three weeks • A payoff discrepancy of approximately $851 between what was reflected in my contract and what was actually remitted to my prior lender was identified and acknowledged by the finance department — but the refund took weeks of additional follow-up to receive • When documents were finally emailed to me, they belonged to another customer entirely, including, what appeared to be, that individual's complete deal jacket with sensitive personal and financial information • When I notified the finance department of the error, I received the wrong documents a second time • The contract documents I ultimately received were dated prior to the date I received or signed them Escalating to the General Manager produced an initial same-day response and a committed deadline that was met. However, rather than personally overseeing resolution, the GM re-engaged the same finance manager who had been the source of the issues throughout, resulting in continued back and forth before the correct documents were ultimately provided. Additionally, one item I raised — confirmation that another customer whose complete personal and financial documents were inadvertently disclosed had been notified — was never addressed. My recommendation to prospective buyers: if issues arise, escalating to the GM will get an initial response — but be prepared to continue advocating for yourself through the process. I would strongly encourage anyone purchasing here to carefully review all financing documents before leaving the lot, independently verify any promotions with the lender before signing, confirm which features are available on your specific vehicle before delivery, verify payoff amounts independently with your prior lender, and follow up in writing on any commitments made by the finance department. In lieu of all of that, I would highly recommend going to another dealership.

This was my BEST buying experience I ever had. I knew what I wanted and they had it in stock. The crew were top notch and my blood pressure never went up. Gave me a great price on the vehicle I wanted and a great price on my trade in. I am very pleased with everything. The dealership is an older one, but it's the people and the way one is treated that matters. Highly recommend !!! Best deal ever ! Smooth as silk transaction ! I would buy from again in a heartbeat!

I have just ordered my 4th car from these guys. I continue to come back because of the courteous and professional atmosphere in the sales and service areas of the dealership. I have owned over 20 vehicles in my lifetime and the sales staff at Jim Brown's has the best product knowledge. They have always gone above and beyond to get me what I wanted and have always given me the best trade in values around, and I have shopped. I would highly recommend Jim Brown's to any of my friends or family!

Excellent service and super good techs. They took care of our Jeeps for 6 years and some. Unfortunately, due to the Economic Times, they closed down the business at the end of April 2025. I have personally confirmed this by talking to the owner Tommy Buchanan. The family started this business in the 1950's as a Chrysler dealership. Such a very sad loss for the local business environment and the town.

EDITED: I was in Saturday to have an oil change with your service department. I had a coupon for 2 full synthetic changes for $120 I believe, and at first the acting service manager said it wouldn't apply because it takes semi synthetic oil. I brought up that my car takes fully synthetic oil, or that is what I preferred. She couldn't get the coupon to work. I looked up the oil part number from the invoice on the mopar site, and it said it was not compatible with my vehicle as it is not fully synthetic. I called and spoke to the acting service manager, as well as the parts manager. They were both very courteous. They said it was fully synthetic that was put in, but nothing that is in the documentation reflects this, or being told my car doesn't take fully synthetic initially when I know that it does. I just don't want this to cause any potential issues, and I wanted fully synthetic oil. I have kept the part number and screenshot from the mopar site, as well as the invoice with the same part number from the service department for my records that both say it's not compatible with my vehicle. Any response would be greatly appreciated, before this becomes a potential major issue. Emailed these to the service manager and haven't heard back yet. Tried to contact Mike, but was told he just left. Oil all over the hood as well. EDIT: the phone call did little to rectify the situation. Sent a pic of a box with the oil that was supposed to be used, and another of a backside of SOME box with the right part but couldn't explain the wrong part number on the invoice, at all. Andy seems to be a great service manager though. If you're ever in this situation of the right oil being in your car, there is a company called Blackstone Labs that will test it. I'm doing it now, and if it is not fully synthetic which I asked for. Man o man, This will turn into something. Couldn't use the coupon either, and no additional offers, or promotions we given after this unprofessional mishap. Might contact the FTC, and NCDOT which deals with these situations, as well as dealer fraud. Also, I was treated very passive aggressively when I went there to purchase a new vehicle, which I bought elsewhere. There are way more competitive dealerships, who treated you like they want your business. Basically none negotiable, but with the bloated inventory of 23 models, and the hornets which are rebranding Alfa Romeo no one wants, as well as the ev's prices are dropping everywhere.
