This is the crookedest dealership I have ever dealt with. I have purchased a lot of vehicles in my day. Worst service worst response time if any and they all lie I will have an hour and a half away purchased an SUV from them, for my wife asked all the questions looked at the photographs Delivered the car to my wife’s work for a Christmas present. The car was filthy windshield had a rock chip in the drivers for you stickers for stock number we’re not taking off, and my wife was very embarrassed when she walked out to show it to her coworkers they want to offer $35 to have it washed detail guy told me $50 to clean it they will not replace the windshield told me to turn it in on my insurance took them over a week to even get that response after calling every day talking to multiple people stay away from this dealership

They knowingly sell faulty vehicle's with the false pretense of repairing them at the time of purchase. Only to later charge you for the actual repairs. The auto repair facility resembles a chop shop or junk yard of some sort. Real scam artist buyers beware of this organization.

Great place to buy a car. Not like your normal used car dealer. Very nice cars Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Porsche. Deals in highline cars, and suvs. No pressure from salesman at all. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Family owned and operated. You get to deal with the owner and their prices were less than the surrounding dealers.

I was told they would hold the car. Drove a 100 Miles only to see it being driven off the lot as I pulled in. I Was going to buy a different vehicle but, test drove it and the low tire light on the dash was on.when I inquired the man told me yeah probably a sensor. I asked him to look at it he said when he got around to it. At the time there were no other customers on the lot. I left without buying anything an won't ever go back. Waisted my time and the customer service was awful

I highly recommend Capitol Auto as a low-pressure car dealer. Purchased a 1-owner 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT from Capitol Auto at the end of May. My initial contact was with Maria, who set up a test drive with Robbie with about 30 minutes notice. After the first test drive, they were patient and not “pushy” as I set up my finances. After a few days, I asked to take the car for a pre-purchase inspection at my mechanic. Maria was more than willing to accommodate. Picked up the car at 9am and was told not to bring it back until 2pm to allow the most time with it as possible. After returning to the lot, I worked with Tyler on final price and financing. He was more than willing to negotiate the price when I showed him the market data from TrueCar and Cargurus. Even though I was already pre-approved for financing, he was able to beat my bank’s rate. Including final paperwork, I was in their office for 2 hours, most of which was due to the bank taking an hour to process my information. Throughout the entire process of the first test drive to driving away with the car, I felt comfortable and under no pressure, which was a completely different story than the other official Hyundai dealers in Raleigh. A couple of my friends asked where I got the car, and after responding, I encouraged them to look at Capitol Auto’s lot first, because I know they will be treated well.

At the time I purchased my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I also purchased the Freedom Warranty. Well 5 months after purchase, I took it to a shop to start a claim because it was making a loud noise. The warranty company inspected the Jeep and found that the drive shaft was bad, as well as, the transfer case motor. Their inspection report stated that the drive shaft was a long term pre-existing condition and would not be covered. Not to mention the transfer case motor is a non covered part. This dealer sold me a Jeep Grand Cherokee that had a faulty drive shaft at the time of sale. When contacting the dealer and speaking with Brian Jones, they refuse to take any responsibility for the issue and only want to blame the customer. I am now out an additional nearly $2000 for repairs I was not planning on paying. Did I mention, I have only had the vehicle for 5 months?! I was able to cancel the warranty for a prorated refund also but that was just as big of a hassle that you have to go through the dealership for. If you are looking for a safe, reliable vehicle for your family then this is NOT the place. This dealership is deceitful and the warranty they upsell to you is useless. I have lived in the area my whole life and have never had an experience as terrible as this when purchasing a car whether from a dealer or private seller. Go elsewhere, I promise you won't regret it!!

No pressure sales. They deal almost exclusively with former fleet vehicles. So they vary in quality, features, and total miles. The trucks are priced accordingly. The truck I went there for was not in the condition I hoped for but I had no problem finding another that fit my needs. Just know that upkeep of each vehicle varies. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall it was a very easy car buying experience.

The same person did not actively listen or follow up with any of the information that she said she would send me then blamed me for her rudeness and lack of professionalism. If you want to do business to get abused and yelled and treated like an idiot, this is the place for you. If not, then I would not recommend this place based on their awful customer service.
