Easy visit. Everything was as promised. They were ready... - John Weaver
Easy visit. Everything was as promised. They were ready at the time of the appointment. I got a loaner car that was fun to drive and the car was ready before the promised time.
If I could give 0 stars I would have given 0 stars. I... - grshekar009
If I could give 0 stars I would have given 0 stars. I have been purchasing cars (usually 2 at a time) for the last 15 years usually once every 3 years and by far this has been the worst experience and even if they were to offer me a car for free in the future I would not want to interact with Jaguar Monroeville ever again, especially salesperson named Walter Lamory. I have interacted with many car salesmen, some good some bad but Walter is at a different level. He didn’t even offer me water on a hot (100 degrees) summer afternoon and had very little knowledge of the car he was selling and lesser time for my questions. Below are the 2 primary reasons for my resentment (and for people to know):
1. I was sold a broken car that died in the middle of nowhere on my way back home from the dealership and was left stranded.
2. I was overcharged for sales taxes (unapologetically) by a lot (around $1500)
After exhausting all my options (calling the dealership several times and Jaguar customer service to no avail) I had to write to Jaguar CEO (it was not easy finding his email address). And I am impressed and thankful that he looked into it and assigned someone from Jaguar corporate to look into the issue and I finally I got my car a week after I purchased and the overcharged sales tax 3 months after. If I didn’t write to the CEO only god can imagine where I would be with the situation.
Big fan of the Land Rover brand, but very disappointed... - Nate
Big fan of the Land Rover brand, but very disappointed with my experience and the service from Jaguar Land Rover of Allentown. Purchased a vehicle from them last year, but hoping to trade in the vehicle soon or explore if the dealership has any type of buy-back option. Highly recommend Land Rover, but would recommend shopping elsewhere. This dealership is focused on the sale, not the longterm relationship.
Had my 2000 S-Type towed to Bennett Jaguar in Allentown... - Gene B
Had my 2000 S-Type towed to Bennett Jaguar in Allentown after it let me sit. Was told the car needed a whole new fuse box because of corrosion causing short, plus blown diode in fuel pump circuit. Cost for new box would be $7000.00 because it came with wiring harness for the entire car. This did not include labor.
I had the car towed home and my inspection as an electronic engineer showed no corrosion in the fuse box and the diode was not blown. After purchasing a maintenance manual I diagnosed the problem as a bad fuel pump. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter at a cost of $120.00 and the car runs fine.
Cost for dealer non-diagnosis $233.20 plus $120.00 to get the car hauled home.
Best Sales and Service in the Universe - Danielle D.
I had a 2011 Jaguar and was ready to pull the trigger on a new car. I was looking at Maseratti Ghibli , Jaguar XJ , BMW 5 series and considering Cadillac.
After looking at all the cars, which one was neck in neck with the Jaguar, I thought to myself, why would I
EVER leave Bobby Rahal??!! There is not a dealership around who can compete with their exemplary service, why would I ever even consider a different car?? So, I bought the Jaguar and I guess that is what I will be driving for life. Any dealership who thinks service does not matter, they cannot be more incorrect!! In my case, it is what made the decision for me about which car to buy. Dealerships should really take a page from Rahal's book!
NOBODY does it like Rahal!
First of all, to avoid confusion, this is the same... - Michaela
First of all, to avoid confusion, this is the same dealership as the Land Rover store (my husband owns a Land Rover that he bought in Maryland). It's a joint Jaguar Land Rover dealership, and both brands are now owned by an Indian company called Tata, which makes its own cars and trucks in India. I enjoyed a pleasant shopping experience here when I recently bought my new XF. It's a new car, and the sales staff were obviously excited by the car, showing me all the interior features. The test drive was very enjoyable, and the reason I decided to purchase there and then. Here are the good things about this Jag dealer: easy to find and park, nice people working there, and a large clean facility. The only bad thing would be that the financing took a while as there was a bit of confusion with my husband.
I had an oil change on my 911 C4 within the last month!... - p944s1987
I had an oil change on my 911 C4 within the last month! It was a very good experience. During the visit I was able to relax in the lounge and even go out and talk with the tech, look under the car and ask questions. I called to schedule this appoint first thing in the morning and was able to get in and out in about 1 ½ hours which was great.
