I took my f-type in for an annual service and they kindly provided an E-Pace loaner so I could make my way back to Augusta where I’m from. Picked up the car two days later @ 10:30am and shortly after departing, my car developed a violent steering wheel vibration. The wheels and tires were brand new and only mounted 1 week prior to the service visit; No vibrations prior to the visit. I got lunch and afterwards headed right back to the dealer. The tech who performed the work, while seasoned, had also overlooked resetting the ‘Service Required’ indicator on the dash. Determined to get it right, the staff was extremely helpful and understanding of the situation and they put the technician back on it immediately. An hour later they take me through the shop to bring the culprit to my attention. Evidently it was the hub fitment of my aftermarket wheels (Forgestar F14), off by just mm. They required a careful mounting procedure to get perfectly centered on the hub. Turns out all four wheels were also out of balance as well. Thanks, Discount Tire, you got half of it right. It takes another hour and a half to reprogram the car to stop the service indicator from flashing on during startup. I left the dealer just after 2:00. A couple of concerns looking back at the visit: 1) Why was the ‘Service Required’ indicator overlooked (hard to miss if you’re even remotely paying attention) and 2) why wasn’t the vehicle test driven to ensure it was road ready for the client? I appreciate the fact they re-balanced all my wheels and didn’t charge me. It’s perfect now. Thanks fellas. But, I suggest a more thorough pre-delivery inspection needs to be implemented.

The service department was sensitive to my needs. Initially there was a mix up on date and time of service ( replace air bag) but the service department went the extra mile and completed the service quicker than I anticipated.
