I am writing to thank Joe Roscillo and Steve Doubleday for their outstanding Customer Service in facilitating the sale of a pristine used Dodge Grand Caravan to a total stranger from 400 miles away, and preparing all details and paperwork to get me back out on the road in about ONE hour !
I sincerely appreciate the genial professionalism !

Supply and demand! Needed to get sensors put into Jeep... - Chaota17
Supply and demand!
Needed to get sensors put into Jeep Liberty tires. Dealer is the only place locally that could put the sensors in and program them. I called to make an appointment and the admin staff were very helpful to move things around and get me in. Arrived and they began the work, of course telling me that 10 other things need to be repaired (to be expected when you visit a dealer and when you have a rusty vehicle). 2 hours later my car is finished and a charge for tire removal/mounting and sensor installment was paid. They inform me that the light is a bugger to turn off and if it doesn't after driving 3-5 miles call them back and they will figure it out. Well after driving 25 miles home it didn't shut it. I call them the next morning and inform them of the issue, they tell me to come in so they can turn it off. So I drive 25 miles back to the shop to do so. When I arrive (for what I thought would be a quick light thing), I am told they need to re-lift to figure out the problem. Confused.. problem. Hum. I just paid for this and waited for this to be fixed the day before. I inform them that I do not have hours of time and need the issue fixed in 20 minutes. So after speaking to the manager they quickly lift the car and do a scan. They come back to me saying another sensor is reading it needs to be repaired (hum. I'm thinking to myself, why didn't this show yesterday) and I will have to pay the tire mount fee again, in addition to the cost of the sensor and it will be longer than 20 minutes. I respond, "NO, I will not pay the mounting fee again, I paid that yesterday and all of this should have been completed yesterday. I'll pay for the additional sensor that suddenly needs repair and I need the work to be completed ASAP. Manager comes over and says the mounting fee is per tire and I will have to pay that again. I informed him that I was charged a standard mounting fee yesterday and all tires were included. He proceeds to tell me that yesterday this tire programmed fine but they couldn't get the light switch to trigger off, today it is showing defective sensory. I responded that if yesterday things were not triggering off, maybe this should have been looked at YESTERDAY. He informed me that things could not be done in the 10 minutes I had left and asked if I could bring it back that day or on a later date. I informed him that I did not have that availability in my schedule and would be writing a review to report my dismay. So ultimately I feel as though the shop should never had given me my car back yesterday until the light was gone. If they were mind-boggled that the sensor wouldn't turn off, they should have re-scanned the tires or taken it for a 5 mile ride to see if the light would disappear. Never-mind that I definitely feel as though I was being taken advantage of. I feel as though they knew another sensor needed to be repaired and had me leave knowing that I would be back tomorrow to pay for another sensor and another mounting fee. Fortunately for this shop they know they are the only one around that can do a job like this! So many people are forced to visit due to supply and demand. Unfortunately for this shop I would rather not get something repaired then pay someone my hard earned money when I am being taken advantage of. On to the next Jeep dealer I go!!!
Quick and Easy! - crysann4
Don was great when I went to Kelly's thinking about trading in my vehicle for a newer one. Not only did he help me find one that was just right, but I had no troubles getting it within my specified needs. Also, what a smooth and seamless transition! Then, signing the paperwork was so quick and painless, it was hard to believe.I was super happy with everything about my transaction. :)
Great customer service - LF
This is a high quality car dealership. We did not purchase a vehicle from them due to COVID-19 (we are out of state buyers), but they are definitely honest and transparent. Their pricing is not as aggressive as other dealerships and we found better deals in our home state. But...just buyer beware on a lot of the dealerships advertising much lower pricing and incentives up front. They are more than likely showing you numbers that you do not qualify for to lure you in. And I don't mean based on credit, because I have near perfect credit. After working with five dealerships trying to purchase a vehicle, this was the case almost every time. The online price is not the actual price. The pricing from Rutland VW was in the range of the actual pricing from the other dealerships that advertise lower prices. So it's certainly worth checking out Rutland, even if they don't show the best price online! They are very nice folks and great to work with. We will definitely consider them in the future!

Absolutely horrible! All around aweful experience. My "great car" they sold me died. Only owned it two years.. And I spent one of those years agruing with them on what they did sell me.. Not to mention when they had to replace stuff under WARRANTY they sent the car back with all the plastic on the inside popped off. Glad they were sold..wouldnt go there again if they were the last place on earth... Wish this would let me give no stars...

Terrible overall - Molley12
I would like to express how extremely terrible my buying experience was at Summit Jeep. How I am extremely unhappy and feel taken advantage of. Every step of the way was completely frustrating and done wrong. From letting me take the new car home for a night, then making me take my original car back. To the paperwork that was filled out incorrectly over and over and over not exaggerating.
I myself had to point out the numerous paperwork errors and tell them to take it back to fix it before I would sign anything.
The interest rate after I was already approved and locked in for changed over night and twice again after the initial approval.
It made me so uncomfortable I had to leave at one point.
Another major issue when reviewing my purchase agreement was that I was promised $18k for my Nissan Rogue trade-in, plus the new jeep rebates. What they did instead was added the rebates from the Jeep to their surprise $6k lower trade-in price that was never told to me for my Nissan. So all along I thought I was given my asking price for my trade-in and was not. I never actually got the rebates off the retail price of the new Jeep. When leaving the dealership the day I signed the contract no one ever gave me options of how to take care of my new registration or offered me ways to work it into my financing.
I have not even had my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee for one month yet. A piece of plastic body molding by my drivers side window flew off while I was driving. I was/am mortified. Buying this brand new vehicle that costs $50,000 is not something that should be falling apart within the first years let alone the first 30 days!
I brought my Jeep to the the dealership to have someone check it out. His response was that “oh that must have happened when they unloaded it off the truck the bracket is broken that’s the only way that could have happened.” So that means Summit dealership taped or glued this broken piece back onto the car that I bought as “brand new” and never even told me that it was broken. I feel so uneasy just worrying about what else they have covered up or have hidden from telling me about this car. Today I got the piece replaced at Summit Jeep. I walk out to look at my car and the new piece they put on is scratched and they scratched the side of my Jeep putting it on. I am appalled. All they did was apologize and say they’d fix it sometime in the future and they would call me. Nothing else.
I am to the point where I don’t even want this Jeep anymore and never had the happy thrill part of buying this new car. Overall I would never tell anyone to go to this dealership. This is the worst experience I could have been delt and I can’t believe they conduct business this way.

I wanted a green Chrysler Town and Country with tan leather seats, dual dvd and without the navigation system. Jim and Will found me the exact van I was looking for, they drove to get it and they gave me a fair price on my Jeep Liberty for a trade in.
Great group of people. I wouldn't buy a vehicle anywhere else.
