We had a negative experience with Kevin Carter in the - Larry Loiseau
We had a negative experience with Kevin Carter in the Finance department. We made the decision to purchase a 2026 Honda Ridgeline but had no clue how long it would take to sign page after page of documents all on an empty stomachs - we had had no lunch...
....As Mr. Carter went on, he then sold us an extended warranty for the truck...as a rule I have never believed in extended warranties. But agreed under the assurance by Mr, Carter that I could change my mind, fill out a form, which he stapled to the contract, and that it would be no problem.
....that very night, the same day as the sale, I realized that I had "bitten off more than I could chew" so I promptly sent Kevin an email.
...days past...nothing from him. I filled out the cancellation form and sent that next. He acknowledged it with the simple reply "Thank you"
So I waited and waited.... still no word. Phone calls were not returned; additional emails were never acknowledged.
As the 60th day approached, I reached out to the warranty company themselves and received a refund for the warranty that I was PROMISED would be no problem to cancel. In the process I lost $240 in sales tax paid to the State of TN. I feel that the least Mr. Carter could do is refund the Sales Tax for the extended warranty that I didn't want in the first place.
