My wife and I traded in my 2019 f-150 for a 2024 F-150, - kenneth.buel
My wife and I traded in my 2019 f-150 for a 2024 F-150, we spent pretty much an entire day at the dealership the first couple of trucks we selected to drive wouldn’t start (brand new) we found one made the deal. Asked for the tool box to be transferred to the new truck, this didn’t happen without them putting several scratches in the bed of the new truck and not securing it. Didn’t know this until we drove off the lot and tool box started sliding around. They were also supposed to remove the front chrome brush guard (didn’t happen that day), because of time.
The contract was also messed, they never put my wife’s name on the contract it had to be sent back to be redone, The brush guard was removed at a later date, I stayed in touch with the salesman concerning picking it up. We live on opposite side of Montana so me going to pick it up isn’t a 1/2 hour task. After a couple failed arrangements I made to have it picked up failed. The salesman stopped communicating with me. So I made another arrangement to have it picked up, when I called I was informed that my $1000 brush guard was thrown in trash. Never once was I notified they were going to throw it in the trash.
So this has not been a pleasant experience buying from Kendall Ford of Bozeman, Mt.
I’m still waiting for the manager to call to discuss the situation. the salesman told me he was going to. Guess just more shifty salesman talk
I sent message to Ford Motor Company also with my concerns
