I had one of the worst customer service experiences with - melnhay05
I had one of the worst customer service experiences with the service department at this location. I took my new 2026 Toyota Corolla to them several times because the air pressure in one of my tires kept going down. Each time, I was told that nothing was wrong and that the air pressure was decreasing because of the weather. I was repeatedly sent home, even though my car continued to give me low tire pressure warnings.
As a young customer, I often felt like I was not being taken seriously and was made to feel inferior when I brought up my concerns. I became tired of driving a brand-new car while constantly worrying about whether it was safe.
I finally took my car to a local tire shop, and they immediately found the problem: the tire had a defect. I was honestly astonished by how quickly and easily another business was able to identify an issue that the dealership's service department had failed to find after several visits.
Because of my experience with Toyota of Hemet's service department, I ultimately decided to turn in my new 2026 Toyota for another vehicle. I did not want to continue dealing with poor service after purchasing a vehicle from a reputable brand.
Toyota, please be more careful about who represents your name. Customer service matters, especially when someone is bringing in a brand-new vehicle because they are concerned about their safety.
If you are considering purchasing or servicing a Toyota, I would recommend looking elsewhere. I personally had a much better experience at Toyota of Temecula and would recommend giving them a try.
