How can I start? What we know: Car prices are jacked, interest rates are not great and often, customer service has been subpar in many industries. Furthermore, there are many options that usually lead to a dead end or an overpromise and an under deliver in the car market (was shopping for months for a new car), trust me. Options: Do I use a lease broker? Do I use a friend? Do I have a referral? Which YouTube videos should I watch? What hack can I find to get me a good deal? Gosh, I really don't want to be given a sales pitch at the dealership, to sell me a dream and then crush it immediately after. Research: I used a lease broker (dead end). Friends aren't in the car industry, no referral on my end, really, man, what car do I even want and how much do I want to pay? Try again: Family member asked me to visit Huntington Honda, mentioned they've had a great experience there with the salespeople, they aren't pushy and will be straight and honest, so I said sure. Car purchasing experience: Walked into Huntington Honda, had some time set up with AK, who was our initial salesperson. Within about 5 minutes of speaking to AK, I had an idea of which car I wanted. I was able to ask questions, get them answered immediately and the team was very flexible in working out a payment and plan that I was comfortable with (and I changed the terms and $ down multiple times). They were very flexible and landed in a place that I found extremely fair. From walking in, to deciding on a car and getting priced out, it was smooth, quick and painless. We sat down, agreed, and got the paperwork going. Nice job AK Processing: After the agreement was made on the car to purchase, I had the pleasure of working with Nicholas G. at the location. Nick set me up with all my applications, paperwork, pick up time, amongst other things. It was a weekend, and my car wasn't going to be ready for 2 days, which is totally acceptable for me. While waiting for the pickup day I had many follow up questions, which I asked Nick about. He was quick, responsive, accurate and a pleasure to speak to. Car delivery: My car pickup experience was with Nick exclusively. I had to change the pickup day for my car, which was no issue. I had my time scheduled for the pickup and was running late, no issue. When I walked in for my appointment, I was greeted immediately by Nick and did not have to wait. All paperwork was prepared, plates ready, registration ready. He introduced me to the car, showed me around, gave me some tips and advice/features of the car. I then walked into the finance manager’s office (uh oh this is where they bang you over the head with other features and increased costs and pressure, right?) NOPE! Straight forward, the exact price we talked about, with the bank we talked about, no surprises, no curveballs. As quick as one can be signing a ton of documents and out. By the time I was done signing the paperwork, Nick had finished installing my plates, putting on my registration sticker (thank God, I can't put it on straight, ever), took out all the temp plastics and such from inside the car, removed my window sticker and stored/stowed all my documents and items safely in my glove box. When I walked out, he was putting some finishing details on the car with wax and cleaning it, even though it there was snow out. Nice touch. After getting in the car, I've had some questions which Nick has been super helpful and responsive about. The world of business and customer service needs more Nick G. Oh yeah? The car? It's a Honda Accord Hybrid Sport and so far, I am thoroughly enjoying it even though it's only been 24 hours. If you didn't read all of this through, here’s a summary. Buying a car sucks. Lots of people don't like going into dealerships. This one is different. Come here, work with Nick G. and AK. They are great, straightforward and offer no surprises and excellent customer service. Allie Ramnadan is the sales associate who helped me at Huntington Honda. A breath of fresh air. I never felt like the "hard sell" I had come to expect from car sales people. Took 15 mins to negotiate pricing, fastest deal ive ever done in my life, he got me a good price for my trade and gave me a fair price for my new car, considering it was a special order and the current mark done in my life, he got me a good price for my trade and gave me a fair price for my new car, considering it was a special order and the current market being rediculous i knew i would not be able to get the price i wanted. He threw in a couple freebies to make sure i went home happy. Even while signing papers in finance he made sure to ask if i was satisfied and asked finance to give me a good deal on warranty and tire protection. I see a lot of poor reviews and i think it has to do a lot with english not being his first language. Im extremely satisfied with my new car and AK is the BEST! More

This guy is terrible! Beware. Terrible customer service, terrible communication. He will yes you to death just to get a deal. Total jerk. Will try and sell your trade Beware. Horrible customer service experience. I went there on 7/18/21 at 4pm to look for a CR-V . The receptionist was unfriendly, clueless and aloof. It would have been better if she wasn’t there at all. Buyer beware. Always review the paperwork and do t get bait and switched like I did. They presented me with 1 offer and their finance team with another. Then the salesman left for the day and could not be bait and switched like I did. They presented me with 1 offer and their finance team with another. Also now receiving following up phone calls from their finance team because they did not complete the paperwork- just seems unprofessional. What kind of show are these folks running? Long Island has plenty of dealerships- go to someone else instead. More
