I bought a car at Paramount Kia of Ashville. During the test drive of this 06 Honda civic everything was fine, I was ready to sign the papers. Then I tried to back the car into a parking spot. It is a manu test drive of this 06 Honda civic everything was fine, I was ready to sign the papers. Then I tried to back the car into a parking spot. It is a manual, and reverse was very stiff. I asked my pop's about it, he thought it was strange, so we asked Matt--our salesman-- and he also thought it was strange. We took the car to the service department where we asked John, the service manager, about the shifting issue. He talked about how it was a safety issue, and that it is more difficult to shift into this gear to prevent accidental reverse shifts. Made sense to me, but I wanted to double check, so I asked again, SPECIFICALLY about the reverse. John assured me that it was all normal and that everything was 100% on this car. So, naturally I bought it. Fast forward to tomorrow, since I bought the car out of state, I paid tax and got a tag in my town, got insurance, and everything was great--except that reverse was still acting up, and seemed to be getting worse. So I took it to a friend who works at a Honda dealer. Immediately after feeling the shifter, he told me the transmission was in bad shape, and would probably need to be replaced. This was bad news for 2 reasons I just bought the car, and I needed to get to Chicago where I go to school and where I had to work the next day. I had an inspection done--which was not free--and when I was told I would need to get the transmission replaced was very upset. It was going to take almost a week to get the parts in, and that means i would be missing a lot of work. I had them order the parts expedited so I could leave sooner. When I called Kia, they gave me the runaround telling me to call this person, or they will call me back, or call that person. When I finally got to talk to Scott he said we could "unwind the deal". But I already put the tags and title in my name, already paid taxes, already had insurance, and Honda was working on my car. And is that all you are willing to do? I bought a car, and something that I specifically addressed before buying the car went wrong, so your response is "give it back, and leave us alone". Makes me wonder if it's not the first time something like this has happened. I was left to pay this $2200 bill by myself less than 24 hours after I bought the car. A $2200 bill that was an issue I had addressed SPECIFICALLY before buying the car. $2200 that I could have saved if they would have been honest with me. I will never do business here again, I will tell anyone and everyone I can, not to shop here. More

This was a very good buying experience. I especially appreciated the time and effort the sales staff put into locating the car that we had planned on purchasing. They succeeded! We shopped for cars at several different dealers-Jeep, Toyota, Ford, etc.- and there was more than one that we would have been happy with but getting John Keefe as our salesman when we got to Paramount Ki Toyota, Ford, etc.- and there was more than one that we would have been happy with but getting John Keefe as our salesman when we got to Paramount Kia was what swayed us to buy from them. I'm not any easy sell but he was very patient and answered my questions repeatedly! He even introduced us to the manager who had personal experience with the model we were looking at. After two Saturdays of seeing us there, the deal was made. We are very happy with our 2011 Sportage T-GDI. More

We came to Paramount to investigate a replacement car for my wife's 13-year old Jetta. We planned on also visiting Honda (FIT), Toyota (Ters), Ford (Fiesta), etc. , but changed our minds due mostly to the f my wife's 13-year old Jetta. We planned on also visiting Honda (FIT), Toyota (Ters), Ford (Fiesta), etc. , but changed our minds due mostly to the friendly and courteous manner of Nat and Arron. Nat brought no pressure to our experience, explained about the Soul and Forte with great patience and clarity. and provided frank answers when we asked. My wife fell in love with the red Soul and it was up to me to do the rest. I researched several Websites including Edmunds and found the Soul every bit as well rated as my 2011 Sportage. We went back and forth on price and in the end I was satisfied with our bargain. I would both recommend and visit Paramont again for buying a new car, and will continue to return for service. Thanks Nat for a great buying experience. More

My husband and I traded in our '05 Spectra we had purchased in AZ for a new Sorento. To start with, we went to the Mazda dealership and Nissan to compare and nothing can possibly compare to the Sore purchased in AZ for a new Sorento. To start with, we went to the Mazda dealership and Nissan to compare and nothing can possibly compare to the Sorento. Our Spectra was the reason we wanted another Kia to begin with. The Sorento is the largest, safest, most efficient, most attractive car in it's class; add in the fact that it's thousands less than any other it's comparable to and it's a winner. A very very smart buy. We got the AWD which also can be 4WD which we didn't know until test driving it and it also has a "sport-matic transmission" that is downright fun. It has all the bells and whistles we wanted w/o anything ridiculously extra. We love this car and know it'll last a very very long time. Alan Cole was our salesperson and he was very friendly, not slimy or snake-like at all; a "real" person. We checked out Nissans after coming here and although I'm sure he would have like us to stay and buy then we didn't feel pressured to stay and free to leave to shop elsewhere. Sure enough though, we came back at about 5:30 (half hour before they closed) and he was more than happy to help us. We ended up trading in our Spectra but in the long run it was for the best. We stayed until almost 8:00pm and felt bad about it but everyone was so nice and truly made us feel comfortable which was where the Sales Mgr Aaron came in. Alan and Aaron said they would fill up the tank then but as the service dept was closed the car couldn't be detailed so we came back that Monday to get it detailed (beautiful job) and have the gas tank topped off again. We were on our lunch break doing this and at first we were told the service dept may be taking their lunch as well since no one was able to be located. Aaron made sure someone was found and assured us we would be out of there by 1:15. At 12:50 our car was done. Meanwhile, Alan made sure to touch base with us and see how everything was going as well as Aaron speaking with us on a very friendly (very welcomed) level where we felt we weren't just customers or numbers or that now that they had our money we didn't matter. Quite the opposite actually. We have a co-worker who is interested in purchasing a Kia and prior to writing this my husband and I made sure to tell the co-worker to come here as opposed to the dealership on Tunnel Road. We will definitely be taking our car here for any servicing and oil changes (only $18.88!). I really can't determine if we were more impressed with Aaron and Alan or the car itself. This was a wonderful experience we walked away feeling really good about and confident we made the smartest decision. More

He got the car cleaned afterwards but the cleaning people left a black streak in interior. We did not go back to get it clean because it is a 40 minute drive from our house. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I don't like the price because I believe that all vehicles are overpriced. Just my belief! More
