Issues with finance department Abraham, Steve and Bill were wonderful and helpful. Never bought a care before and they made me feel very comfortable! However, ow having some issues with through the finance office because, according to the credit union all paperwork could have been done at dealership, but because of the process the finance guy chose make, we are now having a very long paperwork process with our credit union. In a single word… TRUSTWORTHY For the average person, buying a car can be stress inducing. So many dealerships, so many models, the packages, my trade in, financing, etc. Even afte For the average person, buying a car can be stress inducing. So many dealerships, so many models, the packages, my trade in, financing, etc. Even after hours of online research and comparison shopping, you show up to the dealership and things never feel like they “add up.” That’s when you have to depend on the salesperson to guide you through the process. But are they looking out for themselves, the dealership, or you?!?! That’s when trustworthiness is critical. I found that at Pat Lobb (Toyota of McKinney.) This is how Thomas ‘Spike” Lipscomb & Abraham Cisneros earned my trust and turned me into a lifelong customer. --- I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from the dealership and got a fair price for my trade-in as well as the vehicle I was purchasing. They were in line with the research I had done. Unfortunately within a few hours I found that it wasn’t the right car for my wife and teenage son. We tried to work through them over the next few days but they didn't get any better. The issues were a result of the previous owner and admittedly I should have done a more thorough inspection of the vehicle before purchasing it to ensure it met our needs. I looked at the “as-is” document I singed and got a sinking feeling in my gut. I went back to the dealership expecting useless dialogue to pacify me and see me to the door. That didn’t happen. I met with Spike and we had a respectful conversation before he had the service department take a look at the car. It wasn’t just due diligence, he was willing to work with me. Two of his top technicians walked me through the root of my concerns. Spike could see that I still wasn’t happy and directly asked what I was looking for. I explained that I wanted my family to be in a comparable vehicle at a comparable price that they felt comfortable in. This was no easy request for him to deliver and he set my expectations that there may not be much that can be done, but it wouldn’t stop him from trying. He kept me informed over the next couple of days before presenting me with some options. I ultimately chose the one that worked best for me and my family. Yes, my monthly went up a bit but still at a place that I was comfortable. Remember, the dealership was not obligated to accommodate me in any way. The next day I was taking delivery of a new vehicle from Abe. Regardless of how the deal had transpired, he treated us with respect and great customer service. He walked my wife through every single feature of the car with enthusiasm. It was the full red carpet treatment you would expect from a Toyota dealership. Now my biggest problem is that my wife loves the car so much that she doesn’t want our teenager driving it yet. That problem will go away when she gets her Camry XSE next year. So ultimately not a bad problem to have. --- Trustworthiness doesn’t come from accommodating every single customer desire. From the first conversation I had with Spike I felt confident that he had my best interest in mind. This is an experience that proves Pat Lobb is a TRUSTWORTHY dealership! More

I was really dreading purchasing a new car based on past experience; however, Thomas (Spike) Lipscomb and Abraham Cisneros made the experience much be I was really dreading purchasing a new car based on past experience; however, Thomas (Spike) Lipscomb and Abraham Cisneros made the experience much better. I had in mind to purchase a used car with low mileage but Spike and Abe were able to get me into a new car with minimal difference on my payments. There was very little back and forth to workout the details, which was much appreciated. I would recommend Toyota of McKinney, especially Abe Cisneros and Spike Lipscomb! More
