I rarely write a review but my experience at Greater Chicago Motors, in particular with their sales person, Ahmed merits a great review. I flew in from Miami to see my dream car, a BMW M6, and from the Chicago Motors, in particular with their sales person, Ahmed merits a great review. I flew in from Miami to see my dream car, a BMW M6, and from the moment I walked in to the showroom Ahmed greeted and made sure my experience was exceptional. Today my car arrived to my house in closed shipping in showroom condition. Thank you Ahmed, Sam & Chad for a wonderful purchase experience. I highly recommend GCM and Ahmed for your next car purchase. More

Had to talk to owner, Sam Abbas to get a PPI from a shop he recommended after I had signed the purchase agreement. Non-negotiable $299 processing fee included an Allstate Theft Deterrent policy. No discuss. Signed a copy at closing. Read later. Talked to Allstate. They are just the administrator. Indicated etching VIN on glass or other parts is a typical added theft deterrent. Texted Sam. Referred to Chad. Canned email indicated they just register the car with Allstate and think that's OK. Policy language clearly indicated an added device or system. Just another way to justify the $299. Car only had 1/4 tank, since I paid full price asked if they would fill up. Said fine. When driving away only had 2/3. Really, can't fill the gas tank on a full price $40K sale Only a 30 day, 500 mile power train warranty which was used up driving from Chicago to Norther VA. No issues. One minor accident CARFAX which had to be initialed. Second remote had no battery, added, works fine with new battery. VA State Inspection discovered right front tire has 2/32 less tread and two years older than left front. This could have and should have been a completely satisfactory sale, but they just continued to work themselves down to 2 stars. As with any used car dealership, BUYER BEWARE. More

Deceptive and Dishonest are the two words that fully explain my experience. I recently tried to buy a 2016 BMW X5 that they still have on sale. It was listed at 35995 at tha are the two words that fully explain my experience. I recently tried to buy a 2016 BMW X5 that they still have on sale. It was listed at 35995 at that time and I told them that I will have a deal at 35k. After talking with his manager Wally, Ahmad suggested that it looked like we could work it out but let him first check the car to make sure there were no surprises ( I live out of the state and it was not possible to look at the car at my own before the deal - it would have not made much sense to drive that far without having a deal). Ahmad came back after couple of hours with two pictures suggesting that driver side handle had paint chipping and there was one more location with paint damage. He also sent me the invoice at that time. To my surprise, they quoted it at the listed price (note that even turecar was providing $275 discount for it). After I told him that he needed to be upfront as I was not there to do back and forth and if they were unwilling to sell it at my price then good, but he should have told me several hours earlier. He tried to play hard ball and dropped price by $300. At that point, I plainly told him that I was not interested - end of the story. After an hour, I received an email from his manager Wally asking would I provide the deposit if they sell me at 35k and I said yes. I also told him that door handle paint must be refinished by the proper body shop and I would pay $100 for that. He agreed, I did paperwork, paid the deposit and later on Ahmed told me that Friday (few days after that day), the car would be ready. I reached on Friday at 11AM at the dealership. Ahmed told me that car was getting detailed and should be ready in 15 minutes. After 15-20 minutes, he brought the car and asked me to take it for spin. Car had dust in every corner inside, suggesting that Ahmad’s claim of getting detailed was a plain lie and that it was perhaps not even washed for several weeks. Given that car was under warranty but didn’t have much maintenance history, I was more interested in checking the X5 more closely rather than driving it. I spent next 30 minutes checking the car and found many issues, including door handle immaturely spray painted to hide the paint chipping, plastic trim of driver side mirror broken, two lighter/charger-covers missing inside, many other location of scratches that Ahmad totally missed, missing part in tool kit, door xdrive emblem missing, cargo cover missing, right screen of rear seat entertainment broken and so on. These were significant issues, which neither their listing nor their sales agent described. Anyway, their manager offered to not charge $100 me for the paint job (never accepted that they faked it when they said that they got it done from a body shop) and extra $500-dollar discount for rest of the issues. He said they were not aware of those issues, which sounded very unlikely as their body language suggested otherwise. Perhaps, they knew all those things and were hoping that either I wouldn’t find them before driving off or they would be able to negotiate it with me. Perhaps, that’s why they never cleaned and prep the car for sale. Well, only X5 rear seat entertainment was 2200-dollar value so it was no brainer for me to say no to that ridiculous offer. Their overall attitude was of a typical cheap-class dealership that tries to sell through deceptive manners. Their dishonesty is clearly reflected from the fact that this X5 listing still doesn’t mention issues with this SUV and it is still advertised as one with a rear seat entertainment even when they know that it is broken. They do have it listed $1000 less than the earlier price though. I hope that whoever buys this SUV reads this review first so that they can negotiate a better deal. After wasting two days and several hundred dollars on travel, this experience of mine suggests that these days five-star reviews only are not enough to prove that a dealership exhibits the A+ professionalism in selling cars and customer dealing. I dealt with other dealerships and are a hassle to negotiate with. At Greater Chicago Motors I enjoyed how easy everything was from pricing, negotiating, the trade in value, paperwork, all was super easy to get done with. My trade in value was VERY reasonable. And, even negotiated to the price of the truck too! Financing was really smooth. Did not have to put money down at all. I drove home VERY happy that day and even writing this review too! I get to share my vehicle with family and friends asking where I got the truck from. Mentioned the location too even though it was a far drive, all was worth the trip! I sure would do business here again in the future they have so many different types of vehicles. There is alway inventory for someone to take home a fun ride back home to keep. Nonetheless, I appreciate the time and effort the team there had given to me to be happy with my new truck! Thanks ¡Fui aquí pensando que no me iría con un Ford Raptor! En Greater Chicago Motors disfruté de lo fácil que era todo, desde la fijación de precios, la negociación, el intercambio de valor, el papeleo, todo fue muy fácil de hacer. Mi intercambio de valor fue MUY razonable. Y, incluso negociado al precio del camión también! El financiamiento fue realmente sencillo. No tuve que poner dinero en absoluto. Conduje a casa MUY feliz ese día e incluso escribí esta crítica también. Puedo compartir mi vehículo con familiares y amigos preguntando de dónde saqué el camión. Mencionó la ubicación también a pesar de que estaba muy lejos en coche, todo valió la pena el viaje! Seguro que volvería a hacer negocios aquí en el futuro porque tienen tantos tipos diferentes de vehículos. Siempre hay inventario para que alguien se lleve a casa un divertido viaje de regreso a casa para conservar. ¡Sin embargo, aprecio el tiempo y el esfuerzo que el equipo me ha brindado para estar feliz con mi nueva camioneta! Kia Soul Would never again make a purchase from here again. Drove 6 hours to get here, upon leaving after getting dinner that day heading back home I come to find out on the freeway that the cruise control does not work, AUX port does not work, too late to drive back now. Come home, closer look next day I see dings and scratches all over the car, tires were not all of the same brand, oil change was needed, brake rotors needed replaced, all 3 windshield wipers needed replaced and now to add to it the front driver side headlight has been replaced 2 times since I bought it over a month ago and it still keeps going out due to a short I’m assuming at this point. On top of all that they were even too cheap to fill it up all the way for me before I drove it off the lot. $15 was their limit. More

Great Experience Thanks to Amazing Sales Associate This is my first experience with Greater Chicago Motors. My purchase was a 2015 BMW with very low miles. Overall my experience at Greater Chicago Moto This is my first experience with Greater Chicago Motors. My purchase was a 2015 BMW with very low miles. Overall my experience at Greater Chicago Motors was amazing and I couldn't be happier with the service. Dealership Complex: Very nice and clean dealership and designed in somewhat modern fashion. The location that I went to (current location) is very new and it shows. They have a nice waiting area with beverages and TV. They also have a extensive inventory of vehicles ranging from Mercedes to Ferrari, which you can browse while you wait for sales or service. Service (my experience): I found my car through cars.com and reached out to the dealership. Ahmed replied promptly and provided significant amount of information. As I lived in Detroit and would not be able to readily come and see or drive the car, Ahmed, without me asking, took a bunch of videos of the car, bumper to bumper and sent them to me. I was also trading in a car, and Ahmed was able to give me exactly what I was expecting for my car, just over the phone. I simply had to send him a couple of pictures and VIN number of the car. The entire deal was done prior to me driving to Chicago. When I drove to Chicago, Ahmed had the car ready. He took me for a test drive and then when we got back, allowed my wife and I to spend as much time as needed in the car to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted. I also had the pleasure of briefly speaking with the owner, Sam, who was very pleasant and down to Earth. Additionally, the Finance Director, Chad was also a delight and made the entire signing process very quick and easy. Finally, when I got back home, I noticed that the car was showing an error related to the battery. After a few days of noticing the same error, I took the car to the BMW dealership to get it fully checked out. The dealer gave me a quote to replace the battery, which I forwarded to Ahmed. I promptly got a response from him and next day, he proceeded to cover half of the expense, considering that it was a normal wear item. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my experience at Greater Chicago Motors. And in particular, Ahmed made the whole experience from start to finish, spectacular. A dealer who keeps Masarati's and Farrari's as part of their inventory, I expected would have been very non-responsive to customers of BMW/Mercedes, but it was completely the opposite. Ahmed made my wife and I feel like we were very important customers. I highly recommend Greater Chicago Motors and Ahmed for your next luxury car! More
