I have only purchased Toyota's in the past because my #1 concern is reliability and durability. Despite the bad Toyota press recently, I have had great experience with my Corollas. I put 215K miles on the first one and the second is at about 80K miles with no significant problems (routine maintenance only). It didn't hurt that we were interested in AWD so my wife and I could feel a little safer driving in the Michigan snow. As far as I can tell, Sienna is the only AWD minivan on the market. When we absolutely couldn't go any longer without a family car, I spent weeks looking around the Internet at new and used options because I really wasn't happy with what the local Toyota dealership had to offer. We decided to go with a used vehicle to keep the cost more reasonable and I was worried that I would have to travel out of state to get what I was looking for. Then I happened upon a couple listings at Sunshine Toyota that piqued my interest. I sent an inquiry via email and Aimee Alger handled my questions. I want to specifically mention what a great job she did getting back to me, answering my questions, and making the whole experience easy *before I even got to the dealership.* No secret to her success, she just responded quickly and effectively via email. Sounds simple, but I have been in and out of a half dozen dealerships over the last year and at least three other sales people who could have had me on the hook lost me because they didn't follow up properly. No one wants the pushy experience, but you do expect that when someone tells you they will be in touch that they follow through. I got the family in the car and we drove 1.5 hours Battle Creek to test drive. The vehicle we drove and eventually ended up buying was a 2007 Sienne LE AWD and it could not have been in better condition. Spotless interior, all the features we were looking for and just over 20K miles. I had done a lot of price comparison and though it wasn't the absolute cheapest option, it was the most reasonable within a couple hundred miles. Overall, the experience was great. Count this as the third great Toyota purchasing experience I have had. I don't know if I'll still be in Michigan when I'm looking to purchase my next vehicle, but if I am, Sunshine Toyota will be the first place I look. More

I thought I was looking for a new Corolla (couldn't afford a new Camry)but after a careful discussion with me, Aimee found the perfect used Camry. It had one owner, low mileage and looked gorgeous. Aimee takes the time to see what really meets your needs, not just trying for a quick sell on what you think you are looking for. Financing was handled quickly and she has followed up to be sure I'm still satisfied and not having any problems. Absolutely recommend this delearship and this salesperson in particular. More

I purchased a Tacoma under the cash for clunkers program in August, 2009. Initially my email did not bring a response from Sunshine Toyota. Susshine secured a vehicle I wanted and the closing went very smoothly with Aimee paving the way My next contact was to bring it in for service in March and I found Aimee still involved and everything went well. She arranged for a ride to downtown Battle Creek for a lunch I had arranged. We own three other Toyotas and one Lexus in CT and FL. When I visited Sunshine Toyota, it was around 8:00 P.M., and I was tired of looking at cars. I really did not have a very good attitude going into the dealership, and after driving a couple of cars, I was getting a little discouraged. I had very strict criteria, and I just couldn't seem to find a vehicle both my husband and I could agree on. Aimee Alger took the time to listen to all of my criteria and understood what I wanted and what my husband wanted. She was able to put all of that together and come up with the perfect car for both of us. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and above all, patient. We drove out of the dealership that evening at 9:30 P.M. with a 2008 Toyota Camry and are now Sunshine Toyota fans. This is no small feat for a dealership. since we have to drive over 60 miles to get there. Every time we go back for service, Aimee is cheerful and welcoming. and you can bet, when it comes time to buy our next car, we will be contacting her. More
