I would like to share my experience with CR Toyota and specific with Alan Makabi (Internet Sales Manager). I am new to Cedar Rapids and moved very recently. I was looking for a used car around 10K price e specific with Alan Makabi (Internet Sales Manager). I am new to Cedar Rapids and moved very recently. I was looking for a used car around 10K price either Honda Accord or Toyota Camry. I visited Pat Mc Grath, Randy Keul and other show rooms to figure whether I can find a suitable car in my budget. The experiences were not encouraging. At Randy Keul, that guy even doesn't know about the details of the car. I came across CR Toyota thru my friend, I checked their website and called. I was connected to Alan Makabi. Honestly from that movement onwards my experience was very nice. He was very professional in sharing all the info and very customer oriented to understand about the customer requirement and make sure he is satisfied. I bought a Camry with good mileage and good price from CR Toyota. When I dealt with Alan, it was more like a close friend or a very known person with whom I was dealing with and very comfortable. I should say that he is the best sales person I ever came across and refer to anyone without any reservations. He was available at my Hotel to pick as I do not have a car and dropped me twice to avoid difficulty for me. Even just after I bought the car, I was struck on ice and struggling to pull back, called Alan. He came immediately for help and surprizingly another CR Toyota employee came on a different car (don't know how he got to know we are struggling) and they resqued. If I need another car for my wife, I will call Alan first and go to CR Toyota. I also thank Bill the finance manager, who was also very friendlier in approach. I am sharing this honest experince which may be of help to you, if you are looking for a used car, check/talk with Alan (319-389-8368) once and see how the experience turns and then proceed accordingly for other options. Alan was so very helpful from finding the exact vehicle I needed - to making sure the price was exactly as stated when I came to take delivery. There are so many ways a salesman can fall short of expectatio needed - to making sure the price was exactly as stated when I came to take delivery. I had been so happy with my 2011 Camry leasing experience and struggled as to whether to keep the car. He was more than willing to go get me the color I wanted and made that happen as soon as I communicated my interest in a slate gray. It was an extremely positive experience without stress during a somewhat stressful time in my life. The only down side was that someone get ahead of me when I was doing the finance paperwork during my lunch hour so that took longer than I expected, but in general the experience was positive and Alan's assistance was flawless. This is my third lease experience with Cedar Rapids Toyota and additionally we have a 2011 Rav 4 so we are committed to this dealership. Alan did a great job. He was attentive without being intrusive. More
