Alec worked his tail off to find a truck that worked for us. From searching the lot, and surrounding dealerships both local and across state lines, to hitting important deal points, Alec made it happen. I h us. I highly suggest Royal Moore if you're looking to get into a new GMC, and make sure to ask for Alec! More

If you want to be reminded what buying a car was like before the internet was within reach, Royal Moore Mazda is the dealer for you! It's like 1991 all over again, except nobody threw my keys on the roof before the internet was within reach, Royal Moore Mazda is the dealer for you! It's like 1991 all over again, except nobody threw my keys on the roof this time. We were at another competing Mazda dealer and it wasn't going well. We called Royal Moore and were connected with Alec Ebert, a salesman there, and asked if they would sell a specific stock number for $29,000. Alec presented himself over the phone as a decision maker and stated that he would indeed sell this vehicle to us for this price. Based on Alec's good word, and second confirmation that he would sell the car to us for $29,000, we drove out to Hillsboro from NE Portland. He had the car pulled up and discussed with us why they (as a dealership) were able to offer total transparency and sell the car to us at such a great price. We test drove the car quickly to confirm there were no issues, and then went in for paperwork. At this point, Alec turned us over to Mike Weber, who is a Sales Manager. Mike provided paperwork showing a sales price of the vehicle for $29,688 ($800 less than the invoice price), with two additional markups added, bringing the total price of the car before doc prep, taxes, and DMV fees to $30,222. You can imagine how frustrating this was after spending nearly an hour in the car in rush hour traffic, in addition to the heartbreak that not only did Alec (who had seemed trustworthy) lie on the phone about the price being $29,000, but the fact that this exact experience is why we had left the previous Mazda dealership in the first place. Mike said he would "go to the back and see what he could do" which actually meant going outside to hang out with the several salespeople who were smoking outside, before coming back to say the deal on the table was the best they could do. Before Mike's transition lenses turned clear again, I told him the numbers were xxxxxxxx. At which point he got offended about my language and started gas lighting me about being aggressive when truly their tactics are terrible and I was in my right to be frustrated. I offered to split the difference and accept the car at the $29,688 number, to which he said they could never actually sell the car at that price. He then chose to offend us and said "How 'bout I mail you a check for $40 to compensate you for your time." Mike's reasoning for the bait and switch on price is that he believes Alec said "We can get you to around $29,000" which is not what Alec actually said on the phone, not once, but two times. Perhaps the General Manager should send Alec to a communications class or at the very least get him some Grant Cardone training. We would not have gotten in the car and raced out there had we not been told that we could close this car deal right away. Alec should have made it clear in his communication with us that the price was not authorized, his failure to do this is what created this unfortunate situation in its entirety and to be honest, the way this all went down completely nullifies any statements about total transparency and creating a good buying experience. In our eyes, the agreed upon price was $29,000, not $1,222 above that number. This was a very frustrating experience, and for that reason, I recommend making sure you have your deal completely worked out before visiting this dealership. There are too many opportunities for them to add additional fees, such as Theft Protection, to the vehicle, which actually just help them make back whatever discount they claim to be offering you. Lastly, if you are connected to Alec or hear that Mike is on the desk, know that you cannot trust these men, and ask for someone else. Better yet, purchase your car from another dealership altogether. I am truly bummed to have had this experience with Royal Moore and believe it will not be one that goes untold or is quickly forgotten. More

My wife and I were enjoying the car buying experience when she started to get hungry then started to get a migraine. That is when I told them that we would need to leave to eat and would come back to mak when she started to get hungry then started to get a migraine. That is when I told them that we would need to leave to eat and would come back to make the purchase and they quickly pulled out their cell phone and ordered us lunch from Red Robin then quickly got some snacks and drinks for my wife and I. Well after a few minutes my wife's headache went away then the food arrived. Once we were done eating the paperwork was ready to sign and then we drove away with a new car and a great meal to boot. Alec Ebert is very knowledgeable about the Mazda CX5 and helped my wife get familiar with her new car both before and after the sale. Ronnie Bell is the wizard that created the remarkable 0.09% financing and made it easy to get the paperwork completed. I would recommend going to this dealership, even others who worked their were very friendly and put us both at ease. Thank you all very much for the very pleasant experience (which I have never had at a dealership before). 100% Gold Star for all of you! More
