Because this was not completed, another shop visit and additional damage to my pocketbook were incurred; not to forget the damage to the environment due to the release of Freon gas. More

Airbag and Piston Rings Sticking recall services Drop-off my vehicle for factory airbag recall service and piston ring stick issue. Alex informed the warranty on the second one was over and it would Drop-off my vehicle for factory airbag recall service and piston ring stick issue. Alex informed the warranty on the second one was over and it would cost in the thousands and two days to perform. Better that I watch for oil consumption at 1000 miles interval and add more if needed. I proceeded with only the airbag service. I was out of town that week, so will pick the following Monday. Alex was ok with that. I received service complete call on Friday them picked it up early on following Monday. I would give 5 stars for Quality of Work if the car get a free car wash. More

Not accountable for their product Took my Acura RDX in for an issue. The transmission, occasionally and randomly, fails to shift down without a delay. This causes you to not be able Took my Acura RDX in for an issue. The transmission, occasionally and randomly, fails to shift down without a delay. This causes you to not be able to accelerate, which is especially important while driving in traffic, switching lanes, etc. I was nearly run into twice because I could not accelerate and get out of the way of oncoming traffic. My service adviser said he has had the complaint before and after driving my vehicle said that he experienced the delay, wished it didn't do that, but that's normal for this vehicle. I talked to John, the service manager, and he too has heard the complaint before but tried to blame driving habits on the issue. He basically said that "erratic" driving is when it shows up. No...it happens during normal driving conditions like turning into my driveway, going through a drive-thru restaurant lane, etc., as well as times it is critically needed that you accelerate, which he called erratic. To summarize, the vehicle is destined to be in an accident because of this issue. What I expected from a professional manager was to put the customer first, agree that the delay issue could cause an unfortunate accident, and, since they couldn't fix it, get me together with sales and find a more suitable vehicle for city driving. He did none of that. Also, the sales team needs to disclose the issue to potential buyers. John told me that he has heard the majority of complaints on this issue from drivers of 2016 and newer Acura MDX's. If you own one of these models and bought it there, did they disclose that? I hope so, but kind of doubt it. Anyway, I'll be getting a different vehicle soon...but not there. They don't want my business. So the problem is, will anyone want my car when I disclose the issue? I wouldn't. More
