The service department has always been very professional and courteous. I am extremely pleased with my service. I was told how much it would cost prior to the work being done and there were no surprises w and courteous. I am extremely pleased with my service. In purchasing a new 2021 Camry XSE, Alex Peno made the car buying process smooth, fun and efficient. I honestly thought my last car buying experience was the crème de la crème of buying experiences. Then I visited Sun Toyota and realized, there's a reason why they are Florida's Top Dealerrater.com Toyota D crème de la crème of buying experiences. Then I visited Sun Toyota and realized, there's a reason why they are Florida's Top Dealerrater.com Toyota Dealer for years running! Let me start with my Sales Person Alex Peno. The number one thing that irritates me (but I live with as someone who has done sales in the past) is getting a phone call minutes after filling out an online inquiry. It makes sales people look desperate in my opinion, and honestly it makes me strongly reconsider doing business with the company that does it. Yes, I get it is part of the lead generation process, but how about giving it a couple hours before you call me, so I don't think you're sitting there waiting on leads like a vulture. I digress...Alex called me a little bit after I filled out an online form on their website. Of course, I mouthed off about how irritating that was, but he took it in stride, laughed it off with me, and we moved on to making an appointment for Tuesday morning. I showed up Tuesday morning for my appointment, met Alex and as any good Sales person he had some other ideas for me. HOWEVER -- this is where it gets good -- rather than being a typical sales person and pushing me towards his ideas he listened to me (which in and of itself is no easy task, when I barely take a breath between sentences, and every other word out of my mouth is a "cuss" word 🤣) and after I finished, he basically said, "we're going to scrap my ideas they won't work for you." WOAH -- seriously!? That's when I knew as long as it worked out, I was driving away in a Toyota from Sun. The entire sales process, test drive, and post finance Alex was perhaps the most chill salesperson I have ever encountered in any industry -- EVER. SUN TOYOTA MANAGEMENT: Please understand, in this world there are people that need guys like Alex in order to move forward with a deal. I listened to some of the other Sales reps in the showroom, and I can say with great certainty, I would not have moved forward if I had any of them other than Alex. He was the perfect fit for me, and he is truly an Asset to Sun Toyota, I know he's fairly new, please work to keep him, he's got a ton of promise! Mid-way through the deal process I met Brianna from Morgan Insurance Services. What a consummate professional, I wasn't in the market for new Insurance, I've been with my insurer for almost 2 decades. Brianna laid out what she could offer, and wasn't pushy at all. If you choose Sun for your new car, I'd consider listening to what Morgan Insurance has to offer you as well. Gregg Holland - easily the BEST Finance Manager I have ever dealt with buying a car. Finance managers tick me off. You make yourself clear on your numbers and they shove a bunch of crap down your throat that they know you can't afford, but they're concerned with their commission and the dealership's take, so they convince you that all heck is going to break lose if you don't buy this policy or that tire plan or whatever. Gregg was as straight a shooter as they come. I am paying $19 more a month than I actually planned, even though it looks like I'm paying more than I planned as I told Alex a set of numbers that I knew weren't terribly realistic, just to see what would happen. 😂🤣 I have a warranty that will rival anything anyone else will give you, and the necessary Gap coverage. In addition, realistically, my deal should not have happened -- Gregg MADE it happen, and still kept me comfortable financially. He's been in the business and with Sun for a very long time, and longevity usually has an adverse affect on a person's attitude towards their job, not Gregg. Very grateful for his hard work and dedication to my deal. I cannot say enough great things about Sun Toyota and mr BRAND NEW, 2021 Toyota Prius LE. After spending $750 a month in gas, and averaging 16.5 miles per gallon in my previous vehicle, I am going to feel like a millionaire and in the Prius. Sun Toyota is more than a catchy slogan, that you will sing all day after hearing their commercial once -- I felt like they truly understood me.
