I drop off my car to look at a few issues pertaining to AC and Transmission on a scheduled Wednesday Morning at 8AM expecting to hear back by that afternoon. Wednesday passes no word... Im sure I will he AC and Transmission on a scheduled Wednesday Morning at 8AM expecting to hear back by that afternoon. Wednesday passes no word... Im sure I will hear on Thursday. Thursday goes by... Nothing. Friday morning... Sure I will hear something so I wait until after lunch then figure I better call. At 2PM Im told a list of issues. Low Transmission fluid level with no sign of a leak. Service quotes some insane price well into the $400 range to simply put fluid back into my transmission. I need a new battery. $400 for parts and labor. Suspension issues that I didnt even list as a concern but I'm thankful to hear about it other than the $3200+ price tag. I ask why cant I just go to AutoZone and get transmission fluid and fill it myself and get a replacement battery while I'm there? The answer was "Well you could do that". I said well I guess I will. I'll come get it now. I'm told I cant. At 2PM on a Friday, after having my car for 3 days without a call to me, they inform me my car is torn apart and the mechanic went home for the weekend. I wouldn't be able to pick it up until Monday. What a joke. Very unprofessional. So all weekend I have to bum rides around town since I don't have my vehicle. Then I go to get it on Monday and Service has the audacity to charge me $200 for all this. NOTHING was done to the vehicle but I owed $200. While I asked why, the service guy next to him breaks in and tells the guy I'm talking to "No discounts for this one". What the xxxx does that mean? So I paid it and went on my way to AutoZone. Battery is $180 and the Trans fluid is $24 thus saving me nearly $600 avoiding your business. My wife and I have decided to look into replacing this car and wont be shopping at Hatfield Buick for our new one. I will gladly drive to Banning or Moreno Valley if I ever need a GMC or Buick. You have lost a customer and I have no problem telling everyone I know about this bad experience. More
