When I asked for the newest salesman, I was looking for someone that had time on their hands. Immediately Rick was brought out by the newbie and when he asked if there’s a deal to be made today I said no, he snubbed me and walked back inside. Minutes later sales manager Val came out to try to work a deal before I had even test driven. I declined again, explained why I was there and that I didn’t have time for sales games. This must’ve tweaked him because he responded with “I don’t have time for or play games either” in a very sarcastic manner. This pissed me off, to the point I said “clearly you do, I asked to test drive a vehicle, you’re now the 3rd guy I’ve talked to, and the 2nd walked away when he learned I wasn’t buying today” Eventually Val sends Rick back out to give me a test drive and I’m immediately met with attitude and told “don’t scratch it, it’s a $100k vehicle. Make this fast I need to be back in 10 mins for a client appointment.” Firstly I’m aware of the cost. 2nd, way to make someone feel valued. Last bit of xx, during the test drive Rick mentioned his new Mercedes EV that he’d bought from his son. I asked him “did you test drive the vehicle before hand to make sure it rides well, that’s what I’m doing” to which he profoundly answered “No”…. Such xx.
