To clarify, the hitch installation involves more than simply bolting the hitch into place. On your vehicle, the spare tire must be removed, the exhaust must be disconnected and safely supported, and the bumper cover requires modification to properly accommodate the hitch. These additional steps are part of the installation process and contribute to the labor time. Regarding your return visit, we apologize for the confusion with the billing. A different advisor was assisting you and initially did not realize you were returning only to have the correct wiring harness installed after the incorrect harness had been ordered for your first visit. Once the error was identified, the charges were corrected, and we apologized for the mix-up.
