Hello Mr Garner, Thank you for your response. I am responding privately as I do not see any sense in conducting further discussions in public and I believe that my initial comments were factual and clear. I have no argument with Hyundai Motor Finance. The salesperson that I dealt with, who was excellent in every other way, gave me a pay-off amount and told me that if I paid that amount before my first installment was due, the car would be fully paid off. It turns out that she made an error and that interest was accumulating from the day I purchased the car. Had she told me about the accumulating interest, I would have paid the amount the next day and avoided the $340 in interest. My expectation is that the dealership would have backed what the salesperson told me and not required me to pay the additional amount. I have spoken to two managers from your dealership, one of whom hung up on me. The second person was polite and understanding, but did not get back to me, possibly because he felt there was nothing more he could do for me. The additional $340 will not break the bank for me and if required, I will pay it. However, I feel that the public deserves to be warned about risks as indicated in my original review. This is all very unfortunate because I was telling all my friends about what a great experience I had purchasing a car from your dealership and how it exceeded my expectations. Being required to pay extra because the salesperson made an error has tarnished the experience.
