My wife brought her white 2025 HRV for interior detailing on Thursday, 19 June. We normally go to Balise Toyota/Flash Car Wash for our interior detailing. That’s 2 cars each year, for the last 3 years. She went to Curry because she had to have some body work done to the rear hatch, because someone backed into it. Curry suggested that she use their detailing service. The HRV was bought new last August, and currently has only 8000 miles. Besides dirty windows and dirty floor mats, the biggest issue was a dusty dashboard. Not much to clean at all. Now Curry DID get the car clean but I would have expected them to apply protectant to the dash and interior panels. That’s what we were really paying for since it hadn’t been done yet. Nothing. This interior detailing cost $159 ! And no Armorall, not even low-shine applied to anything ! Now the Flash Car Wash detailing at Balise in West Springfield, completely cleans and details the interior, applies protectant ( Armorall ) to the dash and door panels. They even apply it to all the door weather stripping seals AND tires . They do this all for $79 ! HALF of what Curry charged. Now I tried to look on the Curry website, to find an explanation of what their $179 detailing consisted of, but could not. Unlike Flash Car Wash detailing. Only thing that I can see here is that they took advantage of my wife, figured she’s a woman who doesn’t know any better. Only explanation. Either that or they are completely inept. One thing for sure, is that she got totally ripped off. Shame on Joe and shame on Curry for robbing us of $179. More
