AWESOME Customer Service provided by ALL I Met !! While my 4Runner was in for service in early December, I visited the showroom to check for 2019 models. After looking over a White 4Runner on showroom floor--possibly a 2018 model--I ran into Andy Whiting, sales consultant, on my way back back to service waiting room who asked if he could help me. I told him I was interested in a Black 4Runner Limited. He told me he thought they had one out in the sales lot. He went outside to check but could not spot it. He showed me a used Black 4Runner but I did not like interior color. I wanted a black on black. He took my contact info and said he would let me know when they had one. He was spot on keeping me up to date on when they had one coming in from the port. He emailed me pictures of the 4Runner when it arrived at end of January in your sales lot !! I came in on Jan 29th to test drive--had to be one of the coldest days in decades !! He had it running and warmed up in front of bldg. After test driving we went inside to his office and I asked him about a 2018 Barcelona Red 4Runner Limited I had seen online earlier that day. He said it may be inside in the showroom. It was love at first sight ! I purchased the 2018 Barcelona Red 4 Runner I had went online to their site earlier that day and saw a 2018 Barcelona Red 4 Runner Limited. It's Nice when Someone Really Listens We went to other dealerships in Des Moines before T of DM. At one dealership a salesman shrugged off our request to test drive a CRV, saying "I don't We went to other dealerships in Des Moines before T of DM. At one dealership a salesman shrugged off our request to test drive a CRV, saying "I don't think we probably have what you are looking for." and went off to finish his coffee-.hence avoiding having to go outside on a cold, windy day. At another dealership no salesperson approached us AT ALL. The manager said his sales staff were all busy- yet 5 of them were sitting at desks reading, clipping their fingernails, etc. At least we got to test drive a car there, but when we left no one even noticed. We literally had to just lay the keys on a counter. Then we stopped at Toyota, and Andy Whiting met us at the door. He acted like we were the most important couple of the day, even though the dealership was PACKED. He listened carefully to exactly what I was looking for in a SUV and knew right where he could find one on the lot that I could test drive. He grabbed his coat-with no griping about having to go out in the cold- and I was behind the wheel in less than 15 minutes of when we walked in the door. I bought that car. Thanks, Toyota of Des Moines. I love my new RAV4! More
