The tabs on the radiator, a manufacturer issue, caused a $2,300 repair bill. I was just over 50,000 miles by 800. Very disappointed that this wasn't covered. It's my third XT5, not to mention the Traverse before those. I'm questioning my loyalty to GM. More

I need to visit different sites for my job and it was no way of doing that without a car. The manager graciously gave me a loaner. Needless to say, I was able to visit my sites and have the loaner back on time. Thanks Chestview for accommodating. More

The appointment was confirmed by them with no other communication. Appointment day comes and the service advisor asks me if I am “dropping it off”. I said no, I was waiting. He then tells me the leak is. 24-48 hour fix. I should have been notified of this when my appointment was confirmed. As I needed my vehicle the following day, I would have change my appointment. I then asked if they could diagnose, but let me pick it up that day and come back in the future for the fix. I heard nothing until after 4pm in which I was told it was a leak, they had the parts and it was “emergent” to fix and I could not reschedule. They would provide me with a courtesy car. I was then asked what insurance I carry. When I said, they told me they would call back. Turns out, Crestview does not allow anyone with Progressive to use a loaner vehicle. I have never had this occur at any other dealership in the past. They offered to reimburse a GM only rental from enterprise. They closed in less than 2 hours that day and I had no car to get to enterprise with. I figured out my plans and allowed them to repair my vehicle. I called the filling day at 3pm since I had no communication yet. My car was “almost done”. About an hour later I got the call that it was complete. I was not offered a ride home or back at all from Crestview. When I arrive, they had one service advisor and multiple waiting customers. The manager called another person in to help who had no knowledge of my repairs. When I asked what was done, she quick glanced at my papers and said “oil leak”. Nothing more. I had also asked for my breaks to be looked at. The receipt says the brake pads are at 8mm, the multipoint inspection says 10mm. Which one is it? I was then told the total. I had a coupon for the oil change and the leak was under warranty. My total came out $10 higher than expected, when I inquired, I was told “tax”. Sales tax in Michigan is not that high, so what did you charge me for? I felt like the service I received was lacking and they were no open and honest with me about the repairs unless I asked. More
