Arline was the salesperson who reached out after seeing that I had searched the webpage. She set up a time to meet, so that I could drive the vehicle that I selected. She was nice and friendly (not pushy) throughout the sales process. She worked with the sales manager to allow me to take the vehicle to show it to my husband. That was very helpful. There were two things though that I encountered that I had not previously experienced when purchasing a car: 1) An additional charge was added for "Guidepoint" which is basically an anti-theft system. This was not an optional charge. The additional charge that was added for the car that I purchased was $1350. I assume it would be more if the car was more expensive. 2) There was only one key provided for the car. I've always been provided two keys regardless of whether the car was new or pre-owned. When I asked about getting a second key fob, I was told that cars (especially pre-owned) often only came with one key fob. Maybe, I just got lucky the previous five times I purchased a pre-owned vehicle. My advice to anyone considering purchasing a preowned car at Lost Pines Toyota ASK (BEFORE you sign any paperwork) if there is a second key fob. Now, I will have to go through the time-consuming process of obtaining a second key fob at my own expense. More
