I am a 62 yo, 6'7" tall, 200lbs and I am looking to transition from a 1999 Ford F150 manual transmission which I have enjoyed since 2022 into something smaller and gets around 50 mpg. My wife and I went to Carver Toyota in Columbus Indiana on 19DEC for a fact-finding mission just to see if I fit into a Prius. FYI a 6'7" 200 lb man just fits into a Prius. We met Jalen who is an outstanding young man whom I would describe as extremely knowledgeable of all Toyota makes and models, friendly, sincere, efficient, effective and highly motivated during the rest of the month of December Toyotathon. He answered our questions in a patient, concise and very friendly manner and asked us pertinent, informative questions as well. Long story short, my wife and I ended up spending 4 .5 hours at the dealership. We enjoyed our interactions and are now proud owners of a 2024 Hybrid Cienna XLE and a 2026 Carola SE. Thanks to Jalen, Ashley and Richard for answering all our questions, asking us the right questions, finding the perfect vehicles within your inventory and making our relationship with Carver Toyota quite memorable. My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed our time with you and we are elated with the absolutely beautiful vehicles sitting side by side in our garage as well as how personally and professionally you worked with us. Carver Toyota misrepresented financing, made me believe I had to buy add-ons to get financed , and when I called them out, they tried to silence me with a cease-and-desist instead of fixing the fraud. Their actions destroyed my credit and left me dealing with the fallout, while they dodge all accountability. This isn’t just bad service, it’s predatory. If you care about honesty, your money, or your credit, stay far away from this dealership. More

Deceptive, dishonest, and predatory. This dealership ruins lives and hides behind silence and fine print. I’m writing this with deep frustration and sadness. I was sold a vehicle here This dealership ruins lives and hides behind silence and fine print. I’m writing this with deep frustration and sadness. I was sold a vehicle here by a salesman named Mike, who outright lied to me about key details of the deal. I later found out I wasn’t the only one—Mike had lied to multiple customers, which ultimately got him terminated. But the damage had already been done to me. Despite clear evidence that my deal was based on fraud, the dealership has refused to unwind the contract or make it right. Their position seems to be: “Yes, the guy lied to you, and yes, he no longer works here—but it’s your problem now.” Because of this, my credit is now destroyed, and I can’t qualify for a mortgage or even decent rent. I have children I’m trying to provide stability for, and this one fraudulent sale has derailed that completely. I’ve contacted them numerous times, but their lack of accountability is shocking. This isn’t just bad customer service—this is unethical business. They knowingly let the consequences fall on a working parent instead of taking responsibility for what their own employee did under their roof. If you care about your credit, your money, or your family’s security, I strongly advise staying away from this place. This experience hasn’t just cost me money—it’s cost me time, peace of mind, and opportunities for my kids. More
