When I called to make my appointment to have my vehicle looked at I specified that I believed the issue was associated with the A/C. I also asked for them to please call me with a quote before doing any wo looked at I specified that I believed the issue was associated with the A/C. I also asked for them to please call me with a quote before doing any work since there was an issue with them fixing things without my approval. I didnt get a call, except to tell me my vehicle was finished. I asked did they check the freon levels since it was freon, that I believed was leaking. A ( I will use her initial) said yes, let me check, I waited, and she said everything was good. I clarified that the leak was from one of the A/C lines, and that my a/c wasnt working and that with the leak fixed, my a/c would be working? She said correct. I drove my vehicle and of coarse no a/c. I am not sure who is working there but if you know that you repair an a/c line would you not also check the freon levels? So after basically being told that they now need to check the whole system for a leak in order to know if its safe to put freon into it, when I specifically clarified that they had fixed the leak for the a/c, and she states that I dont want to be charged for freon if its just going to leak out, which was why the vehicle was brought in for in the first place. Also she felt the need to expain that we spoke on a recorded line, and I asked her “so you dont remember me asking you about the freon levels when you told me my vehicle was done? She said yes she did and apologized. SO I have no air. I asked for an oil change and they didnt have time for that but had time to video them checking the tread levels on the tires and the break. The service was completed quickly, and the customer service people were friendly. They honored the appointment I'd set up on the app despite it being short notice and weren't bothered by it. I was also happy the seat and mirrors were where I left them. Sometimes service garages change that stuff and it seems like you'll never get it back to where it was. It's a little thing but always a big plus. More
