Was told Lof would take 1hr 45 min. Actually took almost 2 1/2 hours. Asked service mgr if they could check brakes without tire rotation. He said yes. When I got my report it indicated brake inspection not performed. Ashley checked with mechanic and he said “oh I forgot to write it down”. And penciled in brakes were at 50 percent. Doesn’t give me much confidence that the brakes were looked at all. I understand a few mechanics called off and I could have been ok with 1 hr and 45 minutes but 2 and a half hrs for a simple oil change? More

Palm Auto, where I purchased both of my Veloster Hyundai's was great. This new dealership that bought them out, Gettel, does not have a good reputation in the community in their service department. Hyundai's was great. This new dealership that bought them out, Gettel, does not have a good reputation in the community in their service department. I bought my recent Veloster in April, 2017 from Palm, and it was new with about 84 miles on it. Gettel claimed my warrantee was somehow prorated, and expired 4 months prior to my 5 year warrantee, and Palm never told me this. After laborious negotiations, the warrantee was honored when my AC ceased working a couple of months ago. For that I am thankful. On my recent visit pertaining to this writeup, the work was done well (oil change, 4 new tires, 4 wheel alignment), but the digital miles range, full/empty fuel indicator, and MPG did not work after I left and observed them over the next few days. I believe the car was still under warrantee. The date was April 4. I called and was told the digital problems had nothing to do with the work done and were not caused by the work itself, and that the warrantee expired 4 months ago. I like Hyundai, but in regards to my next purchase, I will focus on another dealership, perhaps south in Ft. Myers. I do not care to rate the people (below) I worked with, in case there is a legitimate misunderstanding. The staff were all friendly and courteous. Thank you, Steve Thompson North Port, Fl. More
