I am extremely disappointed with Serra Kia of Trussville, and at this point I’m leaving this review because I cannot get anyone at the dealership to return my calls. When I purchased my used 2020 Ford Expedition, I made it VERY clear during negotiations that I would only make the deal if a powertrain warranty was included. I have the text messages from the salesman to prove it. When we finalized the numbers, the salesman specifically told me in writing: “That's with your lifetime Powertrain warranty and delivery to you.” There was nothing vague about that statement. The lifetime powertrain warranty was represented to me as part of the deal. Now that I am trying to get information about that warranty, I’m being told that I apparently do not have it. Even more frustrating is trying to get someone at Serra Kia to actually address the situation. I have called multiple times and have been transferred to different departments, only to reach voicemail. I leave messages. No one calls me back. I call again, get transferred again, and the same thing happens. I live several hours away, so much of this purchase was handled remotely. That makes it even more important that I was able to rely on what the dealership and its salesman told me in writing. I’m not asking for anything unreasonable. I want Serra Kia to explain why I was explicitly told that my final deal included a “lifetime Powertrain warranty,” but I am now being told otherwise. If there is an explanation, CALL ME and explain it. I would much rather resolve this directly with the dealership than through a Google review, but after repeated calls and voicemails with no response, I’m running out of ways to get someone’s attention. They should not sale used cars if they are not ready to be drove. Brakes, rotors and tires were said to be new but wasn’t replaced until car was taken back the day after purchase for other reasons.
