For the last 6 years, we've had good experiences with Kia. Our Kia experience in NJ was a wonderful one. Unfortunately, my spouse and I had an unpleasant experience. My spouse bought a new car and was to Kia. Our Kia experience in NJ was a wonderful one. Unfortunately, my spouse and I had an unpleasant experience. My spouse bought a new car and was told that his wife's 'old car" (the lease we were returning) needed to be "grounded". Excuse me, but a layperson doesn't know what "grounded" means, and I feel as though we were taken advantage of. When I called and talked to the manager, he talked down to me and told me that he "couldn't turn back time". Nobody explained to us that we were responsible for the remaining payments of the lease. Nobody explained the standard process to us. The expectation should've been set with us, especially because we brought a brand new car from them. I'm highly disappointed and won't be going back to Matthews Kia of Schenectady. More
