"Poor customer service, don't let the stars fool you."
Unfortunately this dealership is not worthy of 4.9 out of 5 stars like their review's claim. I brought my vehicle in to have an alignment done. The next day I received a call saying that, this $180 dollar alignment turned into over a $1900 project. I was informed the bushings and the struts were shot, and therefore the alignment could not be completed. Okay I understand, but I can't afford that right now so I declined the service, and returned to pick up my car. When I arrived I was told my bill would now be $145 dollars. That is over 80% of what the alignment that they didn't complete costs! The service advisor said the mechanics wouldn't have known that the alignment could be done until near the very end. Really? He couldn't see the struts were leaking immediately after it was put on the lift? After debating with a manager who spoke to me like a kid, he reluctantly gave me the regular diagnostic rate of $99. Additionally, he had the gall, to tell me that I don't work for free and neither do their mechanics. Well guess what, Mercedes Benz of South Charlotte, I don't work for free, but I make sure that I don't lose customers for $145. It's too bad that you can't see how much customer service plays a vital role in business. But I guess when you're that stuck up, you don't have to care.
I have been a customer of MB of South Charlotte for roughly 6 years. Recently, I purchased a new S550 from Ryan Turchin. Ryan was absolutely outstanding. He was extremely patient as I evaluated my options and looked at other vehicles. Ryan is also incredibly knowledgeable about the product and was always able to answer my questions, no matter how arcane. He was great about following up without ever becoming a nuisance--which is a difficult balancing act. The bottom line is that Ryan was terrific, and I will enthusiastically refer friends and relatives to him.
"Service and Sales - The BEST in Charlotte"
I moved to Charlotte last year and was looking for a local dealership to services my vehicle. I lived downtown so I chose a dealership that was very local to the area. I scheduled a simple service (oil change) and was on time for my appointment. I was very disappointed due to the service lasting 2.5 hours, and no loaner vehicle to supply me. With multiple visits to the services advisor, he finally agreed to just get my car back to me, because they were running behind.
Next stop - South Charlotte! Aundre (Service) was exactly what I needed! Quality service, responsive to my call, and the dealership staff were wonderful! THANK YOU!
Needless to stay, I was loyal to South Charlotte and even traded in that vehicle for a new one. Darrell (Sales) knew my price point and helped me find my next new baby. And trust me - I'm one picky woman!
