I will add in full disclosure that subsequent to my purchase and while rotating the tires at Les Schwab I was informed that the shocks and struts were in dire need of replacement. That cost me $2500. I'd like to speak to the man at Wilsonville Toyota who performed the multi point presale inspection. He missed a few things.

How about this? I'll pay Les Schwab the 2500 bucks as a cost of doing business to get the car working well. It's a great car. You guys fit me in for service and oil changes every 5000 mi up to 300,000 mi total. I'll then trade the car back to you at 300,000 mi and buy a new Toyota for my son to take to college. I know the car is not supposed to need service until every 10,000 mi. I just don't believe that. I've changed my oil every three or four thousand miles for 40 years.

Please ask Rob to call me at 503-333-8386. My final bills at Les Schwab for shocks/suspension/struts was $1400. I'm left only to believe that these items were not checked by Wilsonville Toyota during the pre-sale inspection. The mechanic at Les Schwab said these items should have been replaced at 100K miles and the car has 157K miles. I relied on the typically thorough reputation of Toyota and honored the no bull sales process. In hindsight that cost me. I should have had the car inspected by an independent mechanic before agreeing to your price. I won't make that mistake again. I'm comfortable that I now have a good car. I do not like that I relied on Toyota's quality and needed Les Schwab to clean up this minor mess.
