The service department fixed my issue while one of the salesmen (Brian) answered all my questions about the cx-9 hybrid. He was also able to get me a vehicle to drive while the service dept. was repairing salesmen (Brian) answered all my questions about the cx-9 hybrid. PLEASE SEE FOLLOWING LETTER TO Barry Burns THE GM OF MED CENTER MAZDA: Dear Barry, I just wanted to let you know that my experience with your Service Center recently was an absolute delight both on a pro CENTER MAZDA: Dear Barry, I just wanted to let you know that my experience with your Service Center recently was an absolute delight both on a professional and personal level. Your people showed a caring and knowledge of my problem as well as a candid evaluation of the situation. I have had a few problems with my 2013 CX9 the major one being a replacement transmission in 2020 by Julio Jones, our past Mazda dealer in Tuscaloosa, in which Mazda and the dealer gave us a 1/2 Goodwill Warranty. Thinking we may have a similar problem Mazda Headquarters sent us to you because of a recent change in dealerships in Tuscaloosa and the new dealerships inability to diagnose our problem (Mazda case code #00176479). Your people were kind enough to diagnose our car as well as list the services that were necessary. Unfortunately, the diagnosis would have cost us more than the car is now worth, and they also provided us with a loner car while it was being done. I wanted to let you know that specifically James Hobbs, Cindy in customer service , your ride along mechanic and diagnostic mechanic are to be commended for superb handling of the problem. In mentioning this to my son-n-law who lives in Ross Bridge, he indicated that he has also heard that you had a good reputation in the community, Sincerely, Michael Palecek. PS I will also write the people at Mazda Headquarters of our experience with you. More
