I bought many news cars and Jeff Pagel one of best salesman from my experience. He went above and beyond to make sure i was very happy with my purchase and he reviewed every feature of my new vehicle with me and answered all my questions. Sales Manager Mick Henkemeyer, Finance Marc Alsdurf , Service Advisor Dan Pope and Service Manager Ben Becker been as always very helpful and nice as well. Shameful business practices and not the first time! I dropped my car off for oil change at 7:20a.m. and at 9;14 received a txt saying tech recommended bin air filter $66 and and that right rear tire has I dropped my car off for oil change at 7:20a.m. and at 9;14 received a txt saying tech recommended bin air filter $66 and and that right rear tire has nail in it, repair $41.86. I called to explain another issue I listed on the key drop off envelope and learned that my car was NOT yet on the lift for it’s service and multipoint inspection. I asked about the tire and was told there was a nail in it and they could plug it for $41.86. I told them not to touch the tire or cabin filter. My question.HOW COULD THEY KNOW THESE THINGS IF THEY HAD NOT PERFORMED THE INSPECTION YET? When I picked car up Dan was not available and the person who helped me said the procedure was to look the car over when on the lift. I took my car home and two of us spent 45 min inspecting both rear tires NO NAIL. I drive 120 miles a day so I have a strong interest in not being stranded; I also won’t be taken advantage of by unscrupulous service providers! Last time I had service they DIDN’T INSTALL A FILTER CARTRIDGE (I drove for 5000 miles and it was only discovered when I had to go somewhere else to get serviced on short notice) then were very condescending (manager Ben) when they said it wasn’t possible to leave it out. Eventually they acknowledge their mistake, gave 5 free oil changes. At that change they also tried to sell me windshield wipers. I might have fallen for it except I put new wipers on the week before. When I brought this to the service writers attention he passed blame on to the tech. These two back to back visits seem to demonstrate a shameful pattern of business practice not rare mistakes. Ben and his staff could use some customer service and integrity training. More
