I recently had a very disappointing experience at Route 46 Nissan regarding a 2024 Nissan Ariya that was advertised for $20,995. I contacted the dealership twice — on January 9 and again on January 12 — 46 Nissan regarding a 2024 Nissan Ariya that was advertised for $20,995. I contacted the dealership twice — on January 9 and again on January 12 — and confirmed by phone that the advertised price was accurate and that there were no hidden or additional mandatory fees. Based on these assurances, my husband drove two hours to the dealership on January 12 fully prepared to purchase the vehicle. Unfortunately, the in‑person experience was the opposite of what we were told. After arriving, he was informed that the following mandatory fees would be added, even though they were not disclosed online: $899 Documentation Fee $995 PDI Fee (described as a pre‑sale inspection fee) When we raised concerns and pointed out that the online listing did not include these charges, and that New Jersey consumer guidelines require clear disclosure of the total selling price, the staff stepped away for a discussion. After returning, they stated that these fees apply to all vehicles, despite not being shown or disclosed anywhere on the listing. This was extremely frustrating, especially after the long drive and the phone confirmations we relied on. For anyone shopping here, I strongly recommend getting every detail in writing before traveling, especially regarding pricing and fees. My experience did not match the transparency that the dealership advertises, and I hope they take steps to correct this for future customers. More

Drove an hour down to this dealership and started off with a great experience. I came in for a Kia, but the salesman showed me a Rogue that I liked even better. In another review on Google, Jeff hit the nail right on the head. Jeff said "First, the internet price was a bait-and-switch. They claimed it was not the final price and proceeded to add thousands of dollars in hidden fees. Most disturbingly, they tried to force a mandatory 7-year/100,000-mile warranty, as if it was required to purchase the vehicle — a tactic that is both misleading and unethical." I was unable to purchase the vehicle without the warranty. I was ready to buy the car TODAY and without purchasing a $5,000 warranty, they wouldn't let me take the car. Super disappointing because I loved it! I was able to find the same car and buy it at Colonial Subaru in Danbury, CT and had an amazing experience. :) Happy ending! More

I went to this dealership to test drive & purchase a car I saw online. Once I said I wanted to purchase it & started doing the paperwork, SUPRISE there was an add'l $4000 charge for their warranty. Told them I didn't want it because it was only 2 yrs old & still had factory warranty. Long story short we ended up negotiating the warranty down to $2000 & I bought the car. I take full responsibility for how the final transaction went down - If I had done more research I would have seen in the reviews that this was a common bait & switch technique of theirs. I would have been prepared to walk away but I committed the other sin of becoming attached to the car because it was exactly what I wanted. Then after we agreed on a deal they kept us waiting for over 2 hrs to do the financing. I would never purchase another car from them. Buyer be VERY Ware. More
