No pressure, overnight test drive, great car I had thought of buying a fully electric car, but had no local dealerships with any ready, and I'd been happy with my reliable White River Tacoma from I had thought of buying a fully electric car, but had no local dealerships with any ready, and I'd been happy with my reliable White River Tacoma from six years ago. While waiting for service on the truck, I saw a poster offering to rent the car you might want to buy. I had a trip coming up anyway, so substituted a Prius rental at WRToyota. I drove 500 miles each way, on very little gas, and got out of the car with no stiffness in my back or shoulders. I wanted a plug in vehicle, and have a short commute, so realized that I could essentially run a Prius Prime as an electric vehicle most of the time, with a gas engine back up for when I needed longer drives, with great hybrid efficiency. Dan O'Brien had a Prius Prime ready for me to test drive overnight, with no pressure, even though he knew I was using it to drive to an out of town dealer to test a Chevy Bolt. The seat and driver controls in the Prius Prime were more comfortable and easier to read without taking my eyes off the road than in the Bolt. For $10,000 less, I could have a smart, safe, commuter car with plenty of tech, and not look at a $8700 battery replacement specter. One week later, the car in the color I wanted was in the dealership, paperwork was completed, rust proofing applied, and I was driving home. More

I did have concerns with the initial assessment of my trade in and the overall purchase offer and declined it, resulting in my posting an unfavorable review previously which I cannot retract .
