Disappointment reconciled I expressed an issue with the inconsistency of my heating and cooling. I said I guess I'll have to wait until it is 30 degrees outside and then complain about not getting heat consistently. This is the disappointment part of my title. The reconciled part is when the service manager sent an email asking for my opinion of the service I received. I explained in detail about the inconsistency of my heating & cooling and that I've had the car for more than four years and this is something new. He scheduled an appointment for me to leave the car later in the month for service to check thoroughly for what might be the problem. I'm grateful for that. More

Quick stop for check on tire pressures Noticed my tire light was on - on my way to work - called Rock County - they said I could stop right in and they would check the tires. Upon arrival, they promptly checked the tires, explained the reason for the loss in pressure and were very helpful and courteous. I go to a dealer to get it done right. That didn't happen. I took my vehicle in for service and one item was to fix a very evident clunk sound. I communicated that I thought the issue was coming from the fron I took my vehicle in for service and one item was to fix a very evident clunk sound. I communicated that I thought the issue was coming from the front right of the vehicle. After having a 8 AM appointment time I did not hear back from the dealer until I called at approximately 11:00 AM. I was told I would be called back with information regarding my vehicle. It wasn't until after noon when I received a call back letting me know that they were guessing the issue was in the rear suspension of the vehicle. I questioned this as it sounds to me like the issue is in the front right. Anyway, I put my trust in the service manager and the technician working on the vehicle as, again, this is at the dealership where I should be able to trust the techs. After driving the vehicle out of the dealership it was immediately evident that the problem was not fixed. I was told that they had to "start somewhere". Sorry but I should not be paying over $300 on a guess. Did the tech ever drive the car during diagnosis? Did the tech drive the car after completing the fix? I am guessing no on both as both would have delivered the fact that sound existed prior to work being done and after. More

One a drop-in basis, they were able to implement a short term solution so that I could drive my vehicle until the major repair could take place. During a very busy time, they were able to coordinate the service time, with the warranty paperwork and a loaner for the 3-days my vehicle was in the shop. I bought a Honda because of their reputation for quality and in addition, the fact that they stand behind their product when something does go wrong has made me a Rock County Honda customer for life. More
