No Hassle Purchase - What a Relief My husband and I were in the market for a White 2015 Toyota Tundra Platinum. I searched all over the east coast and found one 8 hours away and one with Koon's Toyota. Eventually found out that vehicle was at Westminister, MD and was a demo with under 7K. Circumstances dictated that we drive to the location from Virginia which we did for a journey of 2 hrs vs 8. Bob Irwin met us at the door and was so pleasant working with us. He showed us the immaculate Tundra which looked brand new! After test driving, we were ready to purchase this truck. Bob was so friendly and professional, answered all our questions and was helpful while we waited for paperwork etc... We looked at several vehicles inside the dealership and he was very knowledgeable and helpful on all of those and provided us with documentation. His manager George Thompson was also helpful as well as Jeff (sorry don't have the last name) who did our financing. We couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism that Bob showed us during our exchange. Note: your question on did the SERVICE DEPT affect our decision to use this dealership. I want to point out that I think Service is a huge part of a dealership and is important in considering where to purchase. We did not have the luxury of having that be a factor since we had a difficult time locating the vehicle we wanted and our service will be done in Virginia and I will be looking for a reputable place now. Bob was knowledgeable, patient, and very thorough at helping us find the model with the accessories that we wanted. Bob was able to track down the model we wanted at the Toytota factory in San Antonio. The truck was delivered promptly and was exactly what we dreamed of. In addition, Koons was able to accommodate the financing requirements of our credit union and enabled us to secure a great overall deal on our truck compared to other dealerships we surveyed during the buying process. I was very impressed with the buyer experience at Koons and I am sure that we'll return to buy vehicles from Bob Erwin & Koons in the future. More

This is the 3rd vehicle we have bought from Bob and Koons! Bob has always done a wonderful job of being efficient while being thorough and keeping us informed and answering any questions we may have. We test drove a Tundra about a week before we were ready to buy. My husband knew what he wanted and Bob was able to find exactly that for us! On the day we were ready to purchase, Bob had the truck in the engine bay, detailed and ready to go! He makes the paperwork process painless and does a great job of explaining what each document is as we are signing. Bob was able to work out a great deal for us and the dealership offered us a great trade-in on our Tacoma. Jeremy was just as wonderful to work with. He made the finance process painless and was incredibly patient and thorough. He was able to work out different monthly payment options with all of the different options available until we were ready to commit to a certain options package. Throughout the process, neither Bob nor Jeremy was pushy and both gave us the time that we needed to make the best decision for us. We are completely satisfied with our purchase and not only will we continue to buy all of our vehicles from Bob and Koons but we will also definitely continue recommending our friends and family to Koons! More

I've bought 3 toyotas from Koons in Westminster since 2004 and each time it has gotten better. This time was the best. I had done my research but wasn't sure what trim in a Tacoma I wanted. Bob Erwin 2004 and each time it has gotten better. This time was the best. I had done my research but wasn't sure what trim in a Tacoma I wanted. Bob Erwin let me test drive the three I had narrowed it down too and when the one I wanted was way too pricey for my budget, told me about another option I had missed that got me what I wanted. I went home figured out what I wanted and what I was willing to pay and went back to see Bob. They didn't have the car I wanted but located one in another State and gave me a price below what I went in with. Deal as far as I'm concerned. Then I went to the finance department with Wesley. Now this is what I normally dread, the hard sell for add ons. First Wesley got me an interest rate competitive with my Credit Union. Then he showed me all the warranties. But there was no hard sell. I said no and he said OK. While I'm doing this, they send a driver to Pa and pick up my truck. I had it that night. Bob walked me through every thing on it and showed me how it worked. He even walked me through the service and operators manuals. Today when you buy a car they always have you sign a piece of paper that says they walked you through the manuals, but in most cases it just gets passed before your eyes with little discussion. Of course you are buying a new car and really don't care. But Bob was thorough and I appreciated that. I've not used them for service on my other Toyotas except in the beginning because I have a mechanic near by I really trust. But the toyotas now come with two year free OLFs. So I will see how that works. Purchasing a car can be painful, not only the cost but sometimes the hoops you seem to have to go through. My son and I waited 5 hours at another dealer when he bought his car. Nothing like that at Koons in Westminster. Great place to go. More

Bob Erwin from the very start was informative, was very knowledgable about the vehicle and answered all my questions. Had it not been for my own hesitation in purchasing at that exact moment I am sure I would have left the dealership with the Rav4 that day. I am pleased to say that Jason was also extremley helpful and made sure that I left with the warranties that I truley needed, I never felt like it was all a sales pitch, I truley felt that he had my best interest at heart. I have had struggles in the recent past and didnt know that it was going to be possible to purchase a new vehicle, Wendy, Bob and Jason never once made me feel like a less than perfect credit score customer. Since my purchase, Bob has continued to call me to see if I had any questions or concerns with the Rav4. This is my first Toyota, and so far I am very pleased with my choice. I will HIGHLY recommend Koons to my family and friends, and actually already have, this purchase was truly stress free and enjoyable, something I never thought I would say about purchasing a vehicle. More
