I recently visited Herb Chambers Chevrolet of Danvers regarding a 2024 Corvette Z06 and unfortunately left very disappointed with the overall experience. I came in as a serious buyer, prepared to make regarding a 2024 Corvette Z06 and unfortunately left very disappointed with the overall experience. I came in as a serious buyer, prepared to make a deal, with a very clean, low-mile 2017 Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabriolet trade. I had done extensive market research on both vehicles and came prepared for a fair and constructive conversation. Instead, the interaction felt very one-sided from the beginning. The dealership presented a trade value that was significantly below current market data and comparable offers I had already received elsewhere. I completely understand that dealers need margin and may view specialty vehicles differently, especially outside of their core brand. That alone was not the issue. What disappointed me was the lack of engagement and overall customer experience throughout the process. The communication consistently felt generic and transactional, with little willingness to meaningfully discuss the numbers or work toward common ground. Even the follow-up responses felt dismissive rather than relationship-oriented. I’ve purchased a number of high-end vehicles over the years, and even when deals don’t come together, most dealerships still make the customer feel respected and valued. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. The Z06 itself was a great car, and I appreciate the time spent showing it to me, but the overall buying experience did not match the level of vehicle or customer service I expected. More

I recently purchased a 2026 Suburban from Herb Chambers Chevrolet and had a 5 star experience across the board. Joe B in sales was approachable, not sales-y at all and truly just wanted to help my wife and Chevrolet and had a 5 star experience across the board. The general manager Bobby briefly got involved to help ensure we felt good about the numbers and gave us supreme confidence we were making a good decision. And then Adi in finance went above and beyond to ensure we got exactly the right add-ons/warranties that make sense for us. Grateful to this team and recommend them with supreme confidence. More

Did not keep the time promised for the car on day of delivery 2. Friendly but not focused on the right things when we met 3. Had no clue on the $50 rebate for test drive and needed many follow-ups 4. Did not have the battery charger when I left 5. Did not follow-up on the charger even when I called 6. Did not ask / take all paperwork at signing 7. Hard to know who you are talking to via multiple formats The dealership is decent but has a way to go to be efficient and build a strong credibility with its customers. More
