I recently visited Herb Chambers Chevrolet of Danvers regarding a 2024 Corvette Z06 and unfortunately left very disappointed with the overall experience. I came in as a serious buyer, prepared to make regarding a 2024 Corvette Z06 and unfortunately left very disappointed with the overall experience. I came in as a serious buyer, prepared to make a deal, with a very clean, low-mile 2017 Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabriolet trade. I had done extensive market research on both vehicles and came prepared for a fair and constructive conversation. Instead, the interaction felt very one-sided from the beginning. The dealership presented a trade value that was significantly below current market data and comparable offers I had already received elsewhere. I completely understand that dealers need margin and may view specialty vehicles differently, especially outside of their core brand. That alone was not the issue. What disappointed me was the lack of engagement and overall customer experience throughout the process. The communication consistently felt generic and transactional, with little willingness to meaningfully discuss the numbers or work toward common ground. Even the follow-up responses felt dismissive rather than relationship-oriented. I’ve purchased a number of high-end vehicles over the years, and even when deals don’t come together, most dealerships still make the customer feel respected and valued. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. The Z06 itself was a great car, and I appreciate the time spent showing it to me, but the overall buying experience did not match the level of vehicle or customer service I expected. More

They took the time to understand what I was looking for and showed me several options that fit my needs and budget. The sales process was smooth and straightforward. They explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with my decision. I also appreciated the transparency—there were no surprises when it came to pricing or financing. The truck itself is exactly what I was hoping for—clean, reliable, and in excellent condition. You can tell they take pride in the vehicles they sell. Overall, I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a quality vehicle and a hassle-free buying experience. The service experience at Herb Chambers Chevrolet of Danvers is always top notch! I purchased my vehicle here have been coming to this dealership for all my vehicle-related needs since 2021. The Service Danvers is always top notch! I purchased my vehicle here have been coming to this dealership for all my vehicle-related needs since 2021. The Service Department staff is friendly, professional, and attentive to my service-related concerns. When I make appointments, they are flexible if I am running late, quick to help me find a solution, and are very understanding in getting my vehicle in to be service and out in a timely fashion ensuring everything has been checked properly and accordingly. Any concerns regarding my vehicle, they make me aware and ensure that I fully understand what is going on and how the matter can be resolved. I can go to any local car service company closer to home, but I prefer the great service I receive at Herb Chambers Chevrolet of Danvers. Well worth the 30–45-minute drive for proper service. More

Horrible horrible service department. Brought my truck in a few times same issues. Under extended warranty. Had my truck for over a month, got rental and they only paid for 4 days, left m Brought my truck in a few times same issues. Under extended warranty. Had my truck for over a month, got rental and they only paid for 4 days, left me with paying over $1900.00 to enterprise. Truck brought back again same issues, to be told nothing is under warranty it’s maintenance work now. The worst service manager Jose! Plays games! Lies! Telling me he is getting deductions from his personal pay because extended warranty only wanted to pay for after market parts & he wouldn’t allow that! So he is paying the difference. This is not the end of me letting others know not to go here. I have service records & more for proof & so others will not make the same mistake going here! More
