Brandon was the best sales person I have ever worked with when purchasing a vehicle. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the process from start to finish. I will recommend Brandon to every when purchasing a vehicle. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the process from start to finish. Worst dealership experience ever! 12/30/25 We knew which car we wanted and scheduled it to be ready (we live an hour away). It was there right on time and didn't take long to look it over and agree we wanted it. But when the financing started, the nightmare began. The dealership had added on $3000 from their online price (which quoted that it has included everything). It took them several hours to agree to cut SOME of that cost off, so they never would honor their original quote. Then the loan officer wouldn't let us use our own bank (which he gave some weird reason that our bank later told us should not have been a problem) AND using their financing he wouldn't give us options for different rates, even though our bank was 0.5% cheaper. We should have walked out several times, especially since we had our toddler and baby with us, but we really wanted this car and we kept thinking we've already come this far (thank you sunk cost fallacy). Overall it took 5 hours (not exaggerating), but the nightmare isn't over. When we got home (an hour away) apparently the car had a bunch of check engine light codes that magically popped up. Turns out there were like 30 codes. We called the sales man (Brandon) and asked about it, he said since it's under warranty it shouldn't be an issue to get it fixed. That night we pulled up the flash drive of documents they give you (no way to verify you have everything before you leave since it's on a flashdrive) and the warranty paperwork wasn't on there. Well my husband took the next day off work to go back up to the dealership by himself and get this fixed. He talked to the loan officer originally, since Brandon wasn't there, and asked for the warranty paperwork and was told such document doesn't exist and that any Chevy dealership will just have the car and warranty in their system. So my husband walked the car to the service center and they didn't see a warranty on file. Obviously my husband decided to talk to a manager at this point. He spoke to the general manager and the sales manager. They somehow found the warranty paperwork for us and the service department magically got the codes to go away. But we were very frustrated about our wasted time. The sales manager agreed to sending us a $200 check in the mail to compensate us for our time. I gave it a month and the check still hadn't showed up so I called back and spoke to Jason the manager who said he would talk to the accounting department that day and get it issued. It is now 2 weeks later and we still haven't received the check. Also the loan officer had originally told us Palm Chevrolet was going to pay the $100 fee that Campus financial charges for setting up the loan, but he lied because it was just rolled into the loan. And unfortunately we never got that in writing so there's nothing we can do about it. We HAVE contacted them and they don't care about making it right. We've talked to Jason the sales manager several times and he keeps saying he'll call the accounting department and have our check issued but that still hasn't been done. And since it's taken us so much work to even get them to make amends at this point it doesn't feel like they are. Don't believe the responses from Palm for the negative reviews (it's probably just AI and not a real human anyway) they DON'T want to make things right, just don't buy a car from them in the first place! After days of searching dealerships with gimmick It’s great doing business with an honest and ethical business and representatives of the business. After days of searching dealerships with gimmicks to lure in customers it was refreshing to find a dealership that was the complete opposite.
