Service Frustration I've had my car in 3 times and had to call each time to see if my car is done. If a job is supposed to take 3 hours and I have 7:15am appointment and I've had my car in 3 times and had to call each time to see if my car is done. If a job is supposed to take 3 hours and I have 7:15am appointment and dropped my car off the day before, I should receive a call before 3:30 for an oil change and for another appointment I shouldn't have to explain what is wrong 3 times after providing a demo of what is broken. If a part needs to be ordered, the service advisors should have a better understanding of when it should be in with orders these days. Small retail stores provide more info. If a job takes 8 hours to fix why is it that the total time might be 16+ hours to get fixed. I was told they can't have one technician tied up that long. If that's the case, what's the point of making an appointment for the day. This is something that should be on an order somewhere for my car so when I bring it in I don't have to explain to the technician the fully problem of why a wiring harness needs to be replaced and he asks me what is that going to fix. That should be documented. If the dealer orders a part for my car to be fixed, it should be on my order since they know I am bringing the vehicle in since I scheduled the work through them. The technicians seem to know their job and get the work done. The advisors as this dealership need help. I shouldn't have had to escalate things to the manager to get the work properly and timely. Brian, Service Manager, took care of me in the end, but I don't feel confident in working with others. I know I can't always deal with him, but now I will have lack of confidence as I have my vehicle serviced there. Why go back? Another dealer is much farther away. Wait time to check in a vehicle is too long. 20+ minutes each time. You would think if they offer a free car wash for your extra wait time, you might get one. Well I got 1 car wash out of 3 The service manager and Kelly were helpful. More
