The shifter cable bushing broke while picking friends up at the airport. Luckily a police officer was able to Jury-rigged the cable so the car could be shifted into drive. I called the dealer and spoke to Brian in Service, and he told me to bring the car directly to the service dept. When I pulled up Brian came out of the building with a tag and workorder. The car was fixed and ready for pickup that evening. Best of all there was no charge since there was a recall for the degradation of the bushing that attaches the transmission cable to the transmission. More
