I cannot say enough about this dealership and the entire staff. It was our first time at a Hyundai dealership and instead of feeling pressured and rushed, we felt very at ease and calm. Rob first took us through the lot to find the exact car we wanted, and gave a detailed explanation about it. We then went in to talk about the price and what would work best for us. Through the entire process my two daughters enjoyed eating a lot of popcorn, and meeting the very friendly staff. Jay and Brian also went above and beyond to make us comfortable and helped with the final sale. We left with the Hyundai Accent that we are loving. The entire staff was so friendly and courteous that I asked for an application for employment. :) More

To my unexpected surprise I was forced to go out and purchase a car this month as a result of severe flooding caused by Hurricane Irene and the damage that it caused to my car. Buying a new car in a sh purchase a car this month as a result of severe flooding caused by Hurricane Irene and the damage that it caused to my car. Buying a new car in a short time frame was the last thing I wanted to do. I’d much rather research cars for a month, find the best car and work out the best deal over the course of another two weeks. Luckily, Consumer Reports and Edmunds.com were extremely high on the Hyundai Elantra and Sonota. I used Emunds.com to get quotes from as many dealerships in my area as I could. The very first to call me was Stacy at Lester Glenn. Other calls and e-mails from other dealerships soon followed. Many of them promising me the exact package, color and price I wanted for the Elantra. Only Ron, the sales manager at Lester Glenn was honest with me. He told me point blank that this is the number one selling car in America and there is no way he could guarantee me my color choice and price point. Of course at first I thought Ron was playing hardball and I just needed to visit one of these other dealers to prove him wrong. Well boy was I wrong. My first stop was Davis Hyundai in Ewing. The very night before the sales woman told me they had my exact car, with my exact specifications in stock and would gladly sell it to me at my price point. When my father and I showed up we were given a very unhelpful salesman who informed me that they had zero Elantra’s on the entire lot. Infuriated that we had just been lied to so that we would visit Davis Hyundai we left. I soon came to realize that this was the norm among the local Hyundai dealers. That is, except for Lester Glenn. They are the true exception to the rule. Because Ron was so sincere and honest with me up front I called him back and he not only gave me and actual “out the door” price on an Elantra and a Sonota but he broke down each piece of the final cost so I understood exactly how he came up with his final number. I tried to contain my excitement because I had been promised things from other dealerships before. Any worry that I might have had was soon washed away when I visited the Lester Glenn the next morning. Ron had told me to ask for Jimmy Connell so that I could test drive the Sonota and decide if I wanted that over the Elantra. I was expecting the typical cocky, slimy salesman but Jimmy was the complete opposite. I know salesman try to come off as nice but Jimmy truly was a nice guy. He was extremely knowledgeable of the vehicle and was not pushy at all. He truly enjoys what he does and strives to make the car buying experience as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend asking for Jimmy Connell if you plan on test driving a new vehicle. Soon it came time for the final part of the car buying process. I was applying for a loan and about to sign on the dotted line. I thought; hear it comes, the bait and switch. Here is where they tack on all the hidden fees. Wrong again. The transaction couldn’t have been more transparent. The final price was what Ron had promised me right down to the dollar. And Brian Pataky from the financing department was just as pleasant as both Ron and Jimmy. Brian made sure to get me the best financing option that he could. I’m not sure how much incentive they have to push Hyundai financing over the other banks but he was more than happy to sign me up through PNC Bank with a lower APR than what Hyundai was offering. Considering my circumstances of having to buy a new car in less than 3 weeks and thought of dealing with the slimiest of the slimy salesman out there, I feel truly lucky to have stumbled across Lester Glenn. Sure they made money on the transaction. Hundreds I’m sure. But they were honest with me from the beginning and gave what I thought was a fair price. And most importantly they stayed true to their word. I could not have asked for anything more. More

My husband and I contacted 21 different Hyundai dealers (19 in NJ, one in Brooklyn and one in PA) in our search for a new Elantra GLS. One dealer just a few miles from our home guaranteed us that they'd m (19 in NJ, one in Brooklyn and one in PA) in our search for a new Elantra GLS. One dealer just a few miles from our home guaranteed us that they'd match our lowest quote, which was from Lester Glenn, so we approached them with it one Friday evening. They immediately balked at their 'guarantee,' claiming that Lester Glenn had a $4000 package of dealer-installed options that they forced you to purchase, and so because of that they were unwilling to match their quote. We were skeptical of this claim, as we hadn't read anything about a $4000 package on dealerrater.com, so we decided to go to Lester Glenn the following week to see for ourselves. As we suspected, the previous dealer was full of bologna and couldn't have been more wrong. All three of our contacts at Lester Glenn -- Justin, Brian and especially Casey -- were warm, open, honest and friendly. Not only did they stick to the quote we had agreed on over the phone, but the particular car I ended up purchasing came with an auto-dimming mirror and floormats -- an additional $350 worth of accessories that they threw in at NO EXTRA COST because we had made the trip to Toms River all the way from Bridgewater. And as if that weren't enough, I got the color I wanted -- indigo blue, which I was told by several dealers (including the 'full of bologna' dealer) was the absolute hardest color to get. When all was said and done, we got an amazing deal on an amazing car by working with amazing people who went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied (Casey even stayed with me for a few more minutes after the purchase was done, so that he could sync the car's bluetooth with my phone for me). A few hours later, I decided to call the 'full of bologna' dealer to set the record straight. I told them about my experience with Lester Glenn, including the low price we were given, the $350 add-ons that were thrown in for free, and the fact that they had my beautiful indigo blue in stock. The employee's reaction? 'And this was a 2012 GLS?? With automatic transmission? And the preferred package?? Wow. I'd take that deal all day. That's a great deal' After hearing that from a competitor dealer...what more is there to say?? More

We originaly went to Brad Benson to shop for a car, and we were very up front and honest with what we could afford and told the sales man if they couldn't come close the the figure, that was ok. We would s we were very up front and honest with what we could afford and told the sales man if they couldn't come close the the figure, that was ok. We would simply leave and that would be that. I specificaly told him we did not want to go back and forth on pricing, which is exactly what happened. We tried to leave several times and the poor salesman was sent out to get us by our car by his sales manager. We should have gone to Lester Glenn right from the start. I have family and friends that have all bought from Lester Glenn in the past and told me not to go anywhere else. Bob, our sales representivie and Jay, his sales manager, couldn't have been more attentive to our situation, and worked with us to find a solution to our situation. Everyting was explained perfectly and there were no hidden expenses you always find out about when you sit down with the finance manager (Brian, who was great as well)at a car dealership. The new dealership is awesome...the service department is incredible (Lester Glenn gives us free oil changes for the lifetime of our car...synthetic oil too!), and the selection it amazing! Bob and Jay gave us such a great dealer on a new Elantra (which is awesome) that we were able to leave with our 04' Santa Fe (that we still love) that we originaly thought we were going to have to trade in! Thank you for everything! More

On Saturday 8/6 we went on a preliminary search of a replacement for our 2007 Chevy HHR. Originally, we set out for Lester Glen Chevy with the intention of replacing it with another HHR. In stepped Rout replacement for our 2007 Chevy HHR. Originally, we set out for Lester Glen Chevy with the intention of replacing it with another HHR. In stepped Route 37 bumper-to-bumper beach traffic to change that plan. Since we weren't going very far very fast we pulled into Lester Glen Chrysler to get out of the traffic and see what they had to offer. That is where a Chrysler 200 interested my wife but not enough for her to change her plan of just replacing her HHR with a new one. So back in the traffic to L.G.Chevy (Hey Adam - how about one large Supercenter) to check it out. As we drove into the dealership my wife suddenly decided the HHR was a no go, she wanted the Chrysler 200. So there we are with her decision made heading back to the road...through the Lester Glen Hyundai lot...when I asked if she was sure or maybe she wanted to see what Hyundai had to offer. Since I've been driving a Hyundai Santa Fe for years and it was something that never interested her it surprised me when she said why not. Here enters our salesman Gabe Velez who now gets the task of explaining everything, answering all her questions and jockeying cars around so she could test-drive the one she liked. Considering it was Saturday with a showroom full of potential sales (remember at this point she was set on the Chrysler) he was a total professional. I never felt he lost his focus or patience and never felt rushed or any pressure at all. After her test drive of the Lt. Blue Tucson we sat down to firm up the price/trade-in numbers when out of the blue we hear "what if I want that one instead". Well now she's made up her mind, no more Chrysler 200 the White Tucson next to us on the showroom floor was calling her name. Gabe quickly made it a point to secure the keys so no one else could sell it and while we sat down to finalize the deal the car was removed from the showroom floor and sent for prep. From Gabe we go to Brian Pataky in finance to take care of the legal paperwork and 2 1/2 hours later we've removed personal items from the HHR and we're back on Rt.37 (less traffic now) with the deal done heading for home. Our sincere thanks go out to Gabe, Brian and the entire Lester Glen organization for turning what is usually an excruciating experience into basically a painless process. Keep up these standards and you can't miss!! This is the way all dealerships should be run. More
