My first time buying a car alone I have purchasing numerous vehicles over the years, and always had a man with me, even if I did all the negotiating, as I was told car dealer ships tr I have purchasing numerous vehicles over the years, and always had a man with me, even if I did all the negotiating, as I was told car dealer ships treat women poorly, I decided to go it alone this time, primarily because if I couldn't make a deal, it didn't matter, I liked my old car. I was treated respectfully, and not talked down to at all. ( I have had that happen in the past, even with a man with me ). I explained what I wanted and the salesman and staff took me seriously. When I declined certain products, I explained my reasoning and was not pressured to purchase anyway. While buying a car is not on my list of favorite things to do, I was certainly pleased with the way I was treated and the new car. More
