I think I have officially reached the point where I can say publicly that I would not recommend buying a vehicle from Lithia Dodge in Billings. I bought my Equinox from them January 16. It was delivered say publicly that I would not recommend buying a vehicle from Lithia Dodge in Billings. I bought my Equinox from them January 16. It was delivered to me January 21. On January 23, TWO DAYS after I got it, it broke down on the way to Bozeman. To be fair, Lithia did fix the turbo. Unfortunately, that was not the end of my adventures with this stupid car. The turbo went out again. It has also gotten itself stuck in park, and when that happened, Lithia was not willing to do anything about it. And today, because apparently this Equinox felt like it had not contributed enough chaos to my life this year, the check engine light came on. I understand that used vehicles can have problems. I understand that a dealership cannot predict every single thing that might go wrong with a vehicle after it leaves the lot. But when I bought a vehicle in January and it broke down two days after I got it, had the turbo fail twice, got stuck in park, and now has a check engine light on, I think I am allowed to be more than a little frustrated. My bigger disappointment is that after this many problems with a vehicle I bought from them, I don't feel like Lithia has stood behind the vehicle or done much to make me feel like they care that this has been my experience. So, if you are shopping for a used vehicle, my advice is to be very cautious. I certainly wish I had been. More
