Mike at Smithville Ford was friendly, knowledgable, and really listened to what I wanted / was looking for while keeping my budget in mind. I normally dread the car buying process, but Mike made it a smoot really listened to what I wanted / was looking for while keeping my budget in mind. Finance is always the worst when it comes to buying a car. But Casey made the experience very pleasant and it all went so quick! He even worked some magic at the last second and got the bank to give me a car. But Casey made the experience very pleasant and it all went so quick! Massively disappointed in the options for financing, it would have been better for me to do it myself than to keep it in house for them. The best rate they could get me was a percent higher than others li would have been better for me to do it myself than to keep it in house for them. The best rate they could get me was a percent higher than others like Meritrust had to offer because they didn't work with them... The vehicle was what I wanted and a good solid price for what it was, that's really the only reason I stayed with it. I was asked to sign paperwork before I'd even discussed the purchase price, terms, or interest rate, which seemed extremely backwards. I was told I'd get a copy of the car fax and needed to sign it, which I never did? This was just at the dealership. I live a ways away so I just figured I'd take the vehicle with the ford warranty that was on it and go to a local place to file any warranty work. Just over a week after getting the truck I needed warranty work done to it. I emailed the dealership and got a call from them shortly after. TBH I'm not sure what happened but the warranty was not yet filed? It can take a while waiting on a title or something? But there was a rush put on it so it would get here faster than the 1-2 weeks it usually takes? It was very hard to keep track and confusing on what was going on with it. After this and me expressing my dissatisfaction with the answer of deal with it for the next few days until we get paperwork figured out I was messaged that they'd ran a diag on my vehicle without me knowing to try and assess the situation of it. To me that felt like crossing the line, I would of appreciated a simple hey, we're going to look at a few things remotely to try and help figure out the situation. They did attempt to rectify the situation by putting me in a loaner and picking my vehicle up even though I was over an hour away, which I do appreciate, but by that point any chance of rectifying the relationship was wrecked. The did bring out the truck and deliver it to me after the repair was done just over a week later, again something I'm grateful for them doing. TLDR: It felt like an error was made somewhere in filing paperwork and I got the run around until I pulled an I'm going to the manager then something got done but not how or what I would have done as I felt accessing vehicle information without notifying the customer first is crossing the line of integrity. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. They get you the best deal they can and don’t mess around trying to upsell everything. My second car from them and will be going back again. As I live in the greater St. Louis area, we were visiting our daughter who lives in Smithville. On a whim, the wife and I decided to go car shopping. The Salesman, Casey, greeted us outside the dealership, asked us what we were looking for, and we told him. He then showed us the right car, the right price, and even the right color for our tastes. Yes, we are greatly satisfied with this dealership. More
