Was told my Element needed almost $1,700 worth of work which included replacing an O2 sensor and the brake master cylinder because it was cracked and leaking. Feeling like the price was too high, I took m which included replacing an O2 sensor and the brake master cylinder because it was cracked and leaking. Feeling like the price was too high, I took my car to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion. The result? There was nothing, NOTHING wrong with my brake master cylinder. The mechanic said all Schomp had to do was remove and/or clean the part and they would have seen that it was fine. So Schomp was prepared to charge me over $700 for a part I didn't even need simply because they're lazy and greedy. Avoid like the plague!!! More
