Juan Carlos and Chance, you are rockstars and I'm sorry you've had to absorb the frustrations for the past few months. I bought a beautiful used F150 from Covert Cadillac in Bee Cave in early April, but unfortunately have only had the truck in my possession maybe 3 weeks in total since that day. It had what I assumed was tire noise from the offroad tires, so I purchased a set of tires for it. Noise still remained (a whirring/grinding noise from the rear of the truck) so I called up my sales person and they offered to have the shop look at it. This is where the experience went sour. The shop did very little communicating. They would respond when I called/texted for updates, but rarely offered any proactively. After a few weeks, they decided they couldn't fix it and sent it over to the ford shop for further work. After about 6 weeks in total I'm informed the truck is ready to be picked up and I show up same day to take it home. On the drive home, exact same noise is still there. I ask the shop if they test drive it after it was back, they said yes and that ford said it was fixed. Obviously not. I was asked to take it back in to the Cadillac shop (who couldn't diagnose it previously). Once again I am offered rare proactive updates and mostly get my responses from outreach I made. After about 3 weeks I was told "looks like we have washed our hands with it. I will be sending it to Ford" (direct quote from our text exchange). A week goes by and I asked if it's made it's way to ford yet, and they say "We had to make an appointment...it's actually going today" (direct quote from text). I found that a little too coincidental so I drove over to the ford dealership in question and asked their service department if an appointment had been made in advance, they confirmed there was not. From the GPS tracker, my truck still hasn't moved from the spot it was parked in 2 weeks ago so it seems like ford still hasn't looked at it. Keep in mind, all of these are Covert dealerships under the same ownership When I confronted the cadillac dealership about the differing stories, all I got was stories about how people had called out and it just took a long time to get the truck over there. Understandable, but after this much time you can understand my frustration. I asked to speak with a sales manager and spoke to a very nice gentleman who agreed to let me buy a new truck from any of the covert lots and buy my truck by as the price I paid for it. That was a fantastic compromise, so I got back with my sales person and we started looking for trucks. Unfortunately this is where my prior excellent experience with the sales side of the house fell apart. Again I want to recognize Juan Carlos and Chance for their efforts. They are honest, straightforward and helpful. The issue is that while I was told I could, I actually could NOT buy a truck from any of the dealerships. Regardless of the shared ownership, there was multiple trucks we found and tried to move forward on that were denied transfer. This went on for a couple weeks until I visited the dealership again in person, where I was promised that the owner was involved now and would be able to handle the situation for me. This is another thing that did not account for any real action. Out of frustration of not having the truck I've paid for, and no good options on the one specific lot I could buy from, I looked at the new offerings and found a couple that I liked. Sent those over to try and purchase...and again no dice. I was told I needed to go to the other dealership and ask them to honor the deal, and that they could not call and help establishing that deal. So here I am, months later, making payments on a truck I don't have possession of, that isn't being fixed, that none of the promised alternatives are being delivered on. More

Overall my experience was alright. The only issue I have with them is that my challenger was sold to me without having the state inspection done to it!! I also noticed that my back tir The only issue I have with them is that my challenger was sold to me without having the state inspection done to it!! I also noticed that my back tires were bald. As soon as I noticed I sent a picture of it to my salesman . He immediately called me and said that they sold me the car without doing the state inspection on it! So he asked for me to bring it back so it could be done. I asked if the was any way I could get 2 new tires for the back Because mine where bald (almost no tread!) he said he could sale me 4 new ones for 600. They very good about wanting to get you to come into the dealership to buy a car! BUT once you purchase a car, it’s very hard to get a hold of them or have them get ahold of you! I feel as a salesman you never put any of your customers on the back burner. The least you could do is send them a text to let them know you are busy … But I also feel that they only do this with a certain type of people they know who they can do it on and who they can’t I’m being GENEROUS when I give these people a three out of five star rating. I’m not lying when I say I’ve had better customer service coming from a small mom and pop Dealership than I did with this one. More
